Dress up in a button up white shirt and heels, pose sexy and have a friend take your pic...start out the day sending him a funny message, then next time add a hint of sexy, the next time give him a hint of what you have planned for the evening. Then send him the picture.Tell him you can't wait to see him. When he gets home meet him at the door (no kids home) in that outfit. When he goes to kiss you, give him a one but tell him no more touching until you say so. Have a nice dinner made, something you can eat seductively, play some music, get out the oil or whipped cream (whichever you prefer) a

Are you willing to share your recipe? I have a ton of tomatoes all ripe at the same time. -
I don't care if they only get $1.00 per 10 million whether made here or overseas. I don't want them to have it. lol. I also don't want illegal immigrants to get free medical care in the US and be treated like they didn't break our laws. I am tired of people who don't deserve it getting a break, but hard working middle class Americans are working harder for less money and less benefits and politicians only pay lip service to helping us out.

I didn't vote for Obama, and I don't feel any great love for him, however, it took a while to create the mess we are in, and I have never heard him mention owning a magic wand. We all tend to see things according to what issue is important to us and our lives. The people we vote into office are supposed to see the bigger picture. My irritation is with both sides. WHY won't republicans give on tax cuts for oil companies and billionaire businesses? And why do democrats still put special interests groups ahead of middle class Americans? I know the house and senate are split now, but why can't eit

Scotty- If George W and Alfred E Newman had a love child it would be Scotty-notice the faces he makes when he is singing. Drives me crazy holding his microphone to the side and being a side mouth singer. Think he would be able to sing Randy Travis songs well. Baaaad song choice this week. James- Big Ears, screams a lot, has a bad medium range. He goes flat everytime he hits his medium range. And I know he can't help it, but he is hard to watch close up. Haley- The grinning-growling stomper who swings her arm. She irritates me. Jacob-Great range, great at emoting, there is a marke

I, too, get angry when you see someone CLEARLY abusing the system. And I personally believe that with the economy as bad as it is we should only provide illegals enough help to get them BACK over the border. No matter which country they came from. But as some have pointed out, you can really never tell by looks alone if someone is really trying or not. And, WWJD? If I was neighbors with an illegal couple who had kids, I know I couldn't watch the kids starve. I might report the parents, but I couldn't let them starve. I would be over with a box of groceries or invite the kids in for dinner and

I saw all the police cars flying down 278 in front of Target. There was about 10 cars. Glad they got him.

My daughter struggled with acne all thru her teen years. We first tried OTC stuff, but nothing helped. So, we went to the dermo. she tried Differin Gell, Cleocin T, Benzaclin, Erythromicin, oral antibiotics, treatments, cetaphil, you name it, she tried it. The dr said the only thing we hadn't tried was accutane. I didn't want her on that plus, she would have to be on bc pills becuase it can cause serious birth defects if she would have gotten pregnant. (they never believe a teen is a virgin. lol) Anyway, she went on the bc pills alone, to see if the hormones would clear her skin up and voila!

You obviously have never driven in New York! lol. Unless it is all the visiting southerners doing it there.

My husband and son put new hardwood floors down this summer in my great room. It is a really big room now, as it used to be a dining room, den and living room. Out of everything they have done to our house, and they have done a lot, (took down a huge load bearing wall, redid bathrooms, the kitchen, etc.) but it is the thing that was the hardest. Granted, we put down a good grade of hardwoods, thick, not the thinner cheap kind. They rented 2 nailguns and went at it. First they had to take out the old hardwoods in part of the room, and make sure the floors were all level. My floors are beautiful

Maybe it was too hard on the mother...at any rate I think it is awesome that the father went to such lengths. And so good that the brother found her and is able to have a relationship with her now.
-
Thank you, but no I am not awesome. I was just raised to care about people, including my mother. It helped that I had 2 sisters who alternated with me in visiting her. My mother had no short term memory after her aneurysm rupture. She always knew us and the people who visited her often, but she couldn't remember anything you told her, such as "don't light the stove." She was a great mother, and even brain damaged we had a lot of fun. You seem to know a lot about this type of thing. Are you in the medical field?

My father has a mentally disabled brother who was born in the 40's. Their parents were told by drs he should be institutionalized. But, they chose not to, maybe because he was born "normal" and became disabled as an infant after suffering with a very high fever, but at any rate, he is still alive and has always lived with family. My dad spent his childhood taking care of his younger brother while his parents both worked. So, I know not everyone followed the advice of the times. I am grateful that things have changed, but I also know it is not always possible to take care of someone with specia

The Wachovia / Well Fargo Transition...just as I thought
Squiggle replied to subby1's topic in RECENT TOPICS
The week before they changed I had about 10 things that were not posted, then they all came out at one time. Good thing I keep a buffer in my account. It could have been baaaaaaad. We had a mortgage with Wells Fargo years ago, when we sold that house they tried to say we had around 12 late charges. I have had 1 late house payment ever! The only thing that saved us the charges and the strikes on our credit score was that I kept the delivery confirmation slips. I used to work at the Post Office. Old habits die hard. haha. And pay off. If we have another issue we will change banks, even though we -
My hubby hasn't had a pay raise in years, but the company knows he won't leave because no one else will pay him what he makes now or has the benefits. Plus, now we have to pay for our own ins. which used to be paid 100% by the company after he worked there 7 years. So, he got a pay cut if we include that. I think a 4% pay raise is much better than what teachers got under Perdue. How many days did they not get paid for last year?

I totally see your point, I think teaching is one of the hardest jobs on earth. However, there ARE teachers and schools that take what they have and turn a school around. Even in low income high crime areas. Like the ones in Chicago. I am not a fan of tenure, but I also am not a fan of basing a teacher's job or pay ONLY on student performance. I have seen and known some teachers who should not have a job anymore. They are/were burnt out and just putting in time until they retired. I have also known teachers who lost their jobs (recently) who were amazing teachers. I think it just goes to show

I love Olive Garden and am glad they are coming to town! I usually get salad and a bowl of soup, but I have had their lasagna when it was perfect. I am all for (almost) any new businesses that will put people to work in Paulding. I love Olive Tree, too! had some fish there that was delicious! I think their prices are about the same or a bit more than Olive Garden. (And worth every penny. lol) We have enough people in Paulding to support both restaurants. Afterall, we have how many Mexican and Chinese restaurants that have been in business for years.

i LOVE it! We will try to come. Do you know if it is a "family friendly" place? My friend has kids and wants to know if she can bring them.

haha! She sounds like a hoot! I have my own spoiled 21 year old dd. Although she does work and goes to college, she is spoiled in other ways. She says she is dressing up as a rock-a-billy zombie girl.

Alright, I do have a serious parenting question
Squiggle replied to dumbestgirlintheworld's topic in RECENT TOPICS
I think the best way to protect your child is to be VERY aware of adults who want to spend a lot of time with them one on one. Child molesters come in all shapes and sizes with all kinds of faces. Most of them seem very "normal" to the public. I know of one who was a big brother & youth minister. He would date single mothers to get access to their sons. grrrr. The mothers were so glad their sons had a "nice" male influence they trusted him. Let him take them on camping trips and road trips to Disney, etc. I guess I am a skeptic...no way would I let my kid go. I was probably a bit too prote -

I have known Steven for years, our kids went to school together, however, when I ran into him at Rodney's a week or so ago, I had to do a triple take to recognize him! He looks awesome.
