Isn't it ironic that banks get pissed when the shoe is on the other foot?

I don't mind. I think the entire family should be in Federal Prison.

If you are going to Savannah or Brunswick I-16 is THE way to go. And it is not the desolate highway it used to be. I remember when we would have to put a drum of gasoline on the company truck to get from Macon to Savannah because there were no gas stations open after the sun went down. Also, if you are going to go through the small towns in South GA you might want to see this: Foreigners like us are seen as a cash cow.

I was fishing at night at Lake Lanier one time and looked through the binoculars to see how the boat closest to us was fishing about the time a female on the boat decided to relieve herself. I told my buddy we were SOL because we didn't have any bait like they were using.

Go to the Museum of Flight and pay to fly the F-15 Eagle simulator. That is a blast.

You can soak them in Goof Off but they are probably not going to be very good after all that. Oh, and the Goof Off will cost more than a new paint brush.

Ok...is the Aerosmith/ZZ Top Concert Cancelled or Not?
feelip replied to Tiger Mama's topic in RECENT TOPICS
I don't see where it has been canceled. You got me searching ZZ and I found this video. Quality isn't great but this is funny as crap with the fake beards the Allman Bros are wearing. -
I would say that the majority of drowning victims know how to swim. At the risk of going Al Bundy..........I know when I was a lifeguard we had two pools and a beach at Lake Blackshear. I used to hate working the beach because you couldn't see but a few inches below the surface.

There is a Mexican restaurant at the mall in Pentagon City that you should try. Ah, here's a link. The place is Chevy's and it's the best I have ever had anywhere. http://www.chevys.com/

I grew up in Blue Ridge but all the old places are gone now. There used to be a place called Gooch's that had the best fried chicken in the world. The good places are easy to spot. The parking lot will be full.

You are correct. I was a life guard when I was in school and I probably pulled close to 100 people out of the water and not a one of them had been drinking. However, I am starting to wonder if there is a connection between being born in Mexico and drowning.

WHAT!??? No Stevie Nicks, Jimmie Hendrix, Doors???? What do you hillbillies listen to? I mean my God, there is a limit to how many Johnny Cash and Conway Twitty songs a person can hear.

Panic accounts for a large portion of drownings. And for whatever reason the water seems to be a place where people want to be macho. Water is deceiving. What appears to be a "swimable" distance turns out to be a lot further when a person gets out of range from both shores. Most people will panic, which causes even more exhaustion and from that point it doesn't take long to drown. Most parents make their kids take swimming lessons. What they should also do is make them take life saving or water safety classes.

I have a genuine question concerning replica handbags
feelip replied to dumbestgirlintheworld's topic in RECENT TOPICS
Yeah, for people working in sweat shops in Malaysia or Pakistan. The fakes might actually be made in USA. -
I like to walk in the house and have the cold air take my breath.

Yep. Everyone used to think Coors was the best beer ever until you could buy it legally in Georgia.

This time of year one hour before and after sunrise / sunset are going to be the best times to catch fish. The water temp in these small ponds is probably pushing 90 degrees. Late September or early October things will get better.

The difference in $2.70 and $1.26 is $1.44. Even if you have a 50 gallon tank it's only $72.00. If I were that concerned over $72.00 I might think about foregoing the vacation. just sayin

It's strange that when the price of a barrel of oil goes down it takes weeks to see a difference at the pumps but let it go up 50 cents a barrel and the guy at the Racetrac stations damn near breaks his neck getting up there to change the prices.
-
Yep. About the same here except I keep the thermostat on 68 in the evening and at night. And it's worth every penny. I heat with mostly wood in the winter to offset the costs.

I had one bite on my hand while I was wearing the clip on. I had my tshirt pulled over it. They seem to work great.

I taught both grandsons how to build a fire last winter. 14 for 14 here. It just says know how to change your own oil. I change the lawn mower and tractor but I pay someone to do our vehicles.
