  1. Okay! Who's the genius that merged MY topic with someone else's and put MY topic under the LATER'S title. Had your butt called out lately Einstien????????
  2. I didn't know they were on Good Morning America this morning.
  3. Makes you forget about politics, the stock market and the national debt doesn't it? Happy weekend everyone.
  4. That was the bride at the end.....wasn't it?
  5. I left the dentist office and drove to Gainesville, finished up a job out in the hot sun and then went home. Not a smart thing to do but back in the day we did what we had to do.
  6. I hope so. I try to avoid weddings like the plague. And that dreadful wedding song is just..just....dreadful. This is what it should be. A celebration!

  8. It was changed to meet the new VOC laws a couple of years ago so it might not cause rubber O-rings to swell now. It's not nearly as good as it used to be. Can't even use it as starter fluid now.
  9. I run mine through a water hose to the garden.
  10. Damn, sounds a lot like our ghetto dwellers.
  11. I agree. You get what you pay for and sometimes not even that.

    SAW MILL

I found this one on Google: D E Taylor Portable Sawmill Write a review 1570 Trimble Hollow Rd SE Adairsville, GA 30103-4036 (706) 602-0380‎ Also, call Jerry at Circle T Timber. He might know of someone.
  13. I agree with that. When I first saw the exterior elevations of the building my first thought was they did a good job of not going overboard. That's before I saw what they had agreed to pay for this plain vanilla building.
  14. Do you get tired of reading how your buddies screwed the citizens of Paulding County? Then stop reading it. Who is stupid in this picture? I honestly believe there have been some laws broken and I will not rest until I get to the bottom of it. I want to see justice for all. The karma train has caught up to a lot of this but there are still a few that got off without any penalty. Every municipal project The Facility Group was involved with should be thoroughly investigated. Was the Mississippi project a typical business deal for these people?
  15. It's not the access that worries me. I afraid you might let one of those fruit loops out.
  16. The problem with the Equitable Building is the "above ceiling" space. When it was built everyone used typewriters. Now there has to be tons of wiring for computers and other office equipment. The point is we paid more for two squatty little buildings that have a styrofoam exterior than 70 floors of high rise office space in downtown would cost. How long will it take to realize a $65 Million savings? BTW, I think LEED is a crock too.
  17. For what we paid for this We could have bought two of these: and still have $6 Million left over to buy a house in Florida. So did we get nailed?
  18. The government. If the insurance companies could figure a way to profit from smoking weed or selling sumpin sumpin they would have the politicians changing the law by sundown. I find it strange that a Christian nation would outlaw a plant that God created. I guess that it must be okay to disagree with God when it fits a particular need.
  19. Working hard and achieving goals is more important than the historical aspect.

  21. Oh gosh, there goes my credibility again! I guess someone that doesn't know sand lot football from an NFL game plan WOULD think Vick was a great quarterback. I have been a student of the game for closing in on 50 years now but I have never seen anyone but the Falcons (while Vick was taking snaps) implement the RUN FOR YOUR LIFE offense. I didn't say he was the worst player, but he is the worst quarterback. Forget the records, when a quarterback looks one receiver for 3 seconds and then starts juking and jiving and trying to run, that is not the mark of a good quarterback.
  22. As long as he is gone from Atlanta I don't care. He is the worst quarterback the Falcons ever had (and that is saying something). Just think, the NFL might be the only place someone can legally make Vick go Tango Uniform.
  23. Like most everywhere the your specific location will determine whether it's good or bad. I have been here for a long time. The growth has added some aggravation but it has also added some convenience, so it's pretty much a wash. Property taxes are extremely high for the services provided (which consist of roads and schools). Traffic is terrible unless you live in an area like where I live where you can slip in from Cobb and not have to sit in traffic on 92 or 278. Even with the recent real estate crash our property is still showing an increase in value that is ten times what i
  24. And I know the Corp of Idiots let WAY more out than was coming in after Sonny's little grandstand last year. Who would have ever thought that two fools in a power struggle could effect an entire city?
