One of my dad's hobbies was growing roses. When we had to sell mom and dad's house one of the things I wanted was some of the roses. I dug up about six rose bushes and planted them at the edge of the yard. The plants are surviving but they don't have any flowers with the exception of every year at mother's day and at father's day there will be one rose that blooms.

Zebco is the classic beginner reel. I think everyone's first reel must have been a Zebco. The important thing is to make memories. I am amazed at how well I can remember days of fishing with my dad where we didn't catch a fish. I remember how the night before going fishing was right up there with Christmas Eve. The best part is that almost 50 years later I am still that way. Just a fair warning, this is very addictive stuff. What started out as an innocent Zebco reel has developed into a Ranger bass boat with thousands of dollars worth of equipment and tackle.

Who persuaded the judge to set bond for a person accused of vehicular homicide? Is this normal? I just discovered that what she is charged with is five counts of first degree homicide by vehicle because she left the scene. Looks like a mandatory one year of prison but I'm not sure if it could be one year for each count. I say lock her ass up.
