  1. I would have graduated from West Fannin had my dad not been transfered to Atlanta. I used to go to the East Fannin football games with my buddy and his dad in the ambulance when I was a kid. That was back when the funeral homes provided ambulance service. ....oh wait. ......we still have that in Paulding LOL.
  2. My cousin was the star tailback for R.E. Lee HS around that time. Whitmire
  3. Covering one's ignorance by being a horse's butt has never been very impressive. Google map the area and you will see that the intersection of 278 and Brownsville is about one mile DUE east of Bill Corrupt Parkway. This is before 278 tugrns north for about two miles only to turn west again. That kind of road would make a difference. The proposed road is only going to relocate the problem.
  4. I am the azalea murderer. I have planted at least 100 of those things since I have been living here and over the weekend I noticed two plants with one bloom each.
  5. The only access to this road for the evening commuters is going to be via a left turn. How can left turning traffic move faster or at a higher volume than traffic going straight? Secondly, the road intersects 278 at Cleburne Parkway. For this to have any kind of impact on increasing traffic flow the road should intersect 278 around Brownsville Road. This was a bad plan 8 years ago and it has only become more and more obsolete as the years go by. If there is any effect on 278 traffic I would bet a couple of weeks pay that it will be even worse.
  6. Obsolete Parkway would be a fitting name.
  7. This is giving approximate durations for detours. They aren't saying what months these detours will occur. From what I hear they are yet to buy all the properties.
  8. For breast fillets I rub with olive oil then rub with finely ground mix of coffee black pepper kosher salt clove cayenne pepper garlic powder. Right before putting on the grill spray each piece with Pam. This will prevent sticking and create a crisp outside and seal in juices. A word of caution to those allergic to monosodium glutimate, Dales is full of MSG. We call the stuff a migraine in a bottle.
  9. If you have some Flonase or Nasonex spray some on it. Nothing like a little steroid spray to clear that stuff up.
  10. I thought you were being funny. Made me laugh anyway.
  11. Or the National Championship.........
  12. The difference is that most everyone uses 278. The airport was built for less than 20 county residents.
  13. I didn't think Mexicans bothered with getting driver's license anyway. They don't bother with insurance.
  14. All the ones I know. You know what I'm sayin'?
  15. I guess Martin is still deraming.
  16. Amazingly Powerful Executive? Is this a nice way of saying prick?
  17. Cool website. Thanks. Brings back a lot of memories. Anyone remember the catacombs? The Byron rock festival pictures are really rare. Some guy is talking about being in a pecan orchard when those were actually peach orchards. I'm sure it would have been hard to differentiate that day.
  18. I used Sprint for 10 years. The service S-U-C-K-E-D! I have had Verizon since December and it is 1,000 times better. No dropped calls, service everywhere I have been and no annoying direct connect chirp.
  19. Some of the best? I am not recalling any that I would consider being a Harvard, Yale or Princeton type. Not trying to be a smart @$$, but could you name a couple?
  20. It looks like the King family will destroy the SCLC with more of their supreme ability to manage money. They milked the MLK memorial into bankruptcy and, as usual, the federal government stepped in and bailed them out. And I expect Obama will be sure and save the SCLC, one of the most racist organizations around.
  21. Nothing says leave my sh*t alone like a Glock45.
  22. Are you guys kidding? Absolutely without hesitation a bite from a wild animal has to be treated. And treatment includes rabies shots.
