We actually stopped fishing and started watching the ducks. I have been an outdoorsman all my life and I have never seen anything like that.

I was fishing on Lake Weiss one morning last year and for at least thirty minutes there was a non-stop stream of ducks that stretched across the sky out of sight in both directions. There were tens or possibly even hundreds of thousands of ducks.

Since we are paying the representative why shouldn't we be able to "hire" someone from outside the district to do the job? We might find a more capable person with no political ties to special interest groups in the county. One year contract and fire him / her if they don't produce. With the internet it is ridiculous to keep doing things the old fashioned way.

See, I have about as much use for a far right extremist as I do for a far left extremist. I have had one doctor for the last 45 years. Recently I decided that I probably should find someone closer and younger since he is pushing 90. I have been pleasantly surprised with Dr. Mary Daley-Smith at We Care MD.

My dad was a GA State Patrol. I was riding with him one day during a snow storm when a car with Michigan plates blew by us and everyone else. Dad very calmly said "well, let's get down here and get this dumb ass out of the ditch". Sure enough, about a mile down the road there's the genius out in the median stuck up to his axle. He got ticketed for too fast for conditions, failure to maintain control and threatened to write him one for telling him how they did it where he came from.
