So did I. There once was a man named Kent.

Okay, I'll play along for a minute. Let's just pretend that the scripture to which you are referring IS in fact talking about the census. The rule book for the census is the United States Constitution. We are REQUIRED by the constitution to answer the question "how many people were living in your household on April 1, 2010?" That is all we are REQUIRED to answer. You, me or anyone else can't honestly say how Jesus or anyone else other than ourselves would answer (or not answer) the other questions. Refusing to answer the other questions is not rude and is not illegal.
-
And I have clearance for a few government agencies so I know they have more info available on me than on most citizens. I also understand WHY they NEED the info for the clearance into the facilities. I don't see a need for all this BS on the census. There is a difference in being matter of fact and being rude. When someone doesn't want to hear me telling them no, I tend to get rather "matter of factly" with them. And when they try an end around and try to get info from my neighbors I start to get rude.
-
While the government might have all this info, what they don't have is the ability to share the info between different agencies. The lady that came to my house was someone's grandma. I had respect for the job she was doing. And I respectfully told her that the number of.people living in my house was all she needed and I refused to answer any more questions. And the she stopped at neighbor's house (again) so I yelled "don't give her any info about me" and she left.

I hate to copy and paste something as long as this. This is just one example of why you don't allow the government to lead you around by your nose. Do they already have most of this info? Maybe, maybe not. I have a P.O. Box. It would take them a long time to actually find me because there are very few that want to expend that kind of effort. For those of you that want to be the government's buddy, by all means, go for it. Personally I have NEVER seen anything good come from the government. But then I have always worked for myself and provided for myself. Some people just love

Don't turn at South Cobb Drive. Keep going to Atlanta Road. Early in the morning I go Thornton to I-20 to the downtown connector, I-85 to 400 and get off at Glenridge connector. Before traffic this is about 25 minutes.

You are kidding, right? I don't care if the census worker is my wife, I am not going to voluntarily give the US government that information. All that is necessary to conduct a census is the number of people. That is all anyone should give them. As for what the workers are paid...... I'm guessing they knew the pay scale when they took the job. That's not something I can do anything about. I am still not going to swap my liberty for security just because you think I should feel sorry for someone that decided to work too cheap.

I have discovered that there is proof at Walmart at 12:00 NOON.

That was a very non-specific, random statement refering to the backwoods way things are still handled in Paulding. And the fact that juries can easily be tainted, especially when too much information gets out about the case before trial. Not to mention that I didn't know the guy in Surepip's case was a brother in law of a judge. Is he? If I were Surepip's attorney, the first thing I would be trying for would be having the trial moved to another county. Sorry if I came across so classless. We have a joke from a movie where the city guy refers to everyone in the little country town
-
You're right. He might have to get out of Paulding to get a fair trial. I would hate to have a case against one of the judges inbred brother in laws.
-
Which means you would be disqualified.
-
If I am one of.the three I can assure you that I don't hate this county. I have been here longer than most. My family was actually squatters in the lost mountain area. The elected officials that were in charge before the last.election were self-serving, arrogant and some.think corrupt. Since these same politicians gave the local Republican party a fat bank account, they seem to overlook a lot of the shortcomings. Going.to hear lipservice from the candidates is worthless. These are local people. Find someone you can trust and ask them for an opinion.

Look at the bright side. You might have kept one Mexican in Mexico instead of coming here. Even an empty glass can be half full if you spin it just right.
-
Oh you can bet Jerry and the two remaining are protecting taxpayers. Probably about a dozen taxpayers to be specific. Believe me, your attitude toward this type of lawsuit will change if you ever have to fight a government entity for what is rightfully yours. Juries are to decide the merit of a lawsuit, not a po-dunk county board of commissioners.
-
Didn't Tom T. Hall do the song for Roland Martin's fishing show? The great American fisherman. NOPE, I was wrong. Tom T Hall did Orlando Wilson's theme music. Bobby Bare did Roland's.
-
Oh crap, you played the Mexico card! Now I HAVE got to look at this Primo. I don't like supporting Mexico. All kidding aside, thanks for the info. I will definitely look at the Primo. Thank you. The only Ace in Buckhead I can think of is at Peachtree Battle. Is that the one? I love that place. It's been around so long that they still have a lot of the old stuff you can't find anywhere else.
-
How do you know that I'm not?
-
Yeah, you and Ithy are so much more intelligent than those of us that have the gonads to speak out about these buddies of yours. If what we are saying is totally "unfounded", then why did 79% of the county agree with us when they put your buddy Jerry in the wind? Oh wait, you and Ithy are smarter than 79% of the county, right? Yeah, keep trying to baffle 'em with bullsh*t pal, I don't think you can fool any of the people ANY of the time. We cut the snake's head off but it seems that some are trying to re-attach it.
-
I don't have a case or an agenda. If you saw nothing wrong with the way Jerry did things you are either ignorant or one of them. And quite honestly, you don't qualify to be one of them.
-
Look the same. I thought Primo was just a take off on the egg. Educate me. (please)
-
Oh yeah Ithy. Matter of fact I am quitting my job next week and going full time on the "Help Beat Beverly Cochran" payroll. Take a deep breath and try to realize just how goofy that statement was dude.
-
That's what I'm talking about. This is what I keep hearing. Thanks.
-
Who do you and Ithy think your fooling? The difference here is you are trying to campaign. I am just stating an opinion. This isn't about "smearing" anyone. I'm betting both candidates are fine folks. I am not so naive as to overlook the fact that a small group of families have be in control of Paulding County for a long time. Not until the last BOC chairman was defeated was the stronghold broken. We don't need more of the same and (in my opinion) we can't afford to take a chance on anyone that might be the least bit influenced by the old regime.

I cook on the grill or smoker an average of three days a week. What is supposed to be so great about the egg is the absolute temperature control and the ability to put the food on it and forget about it. The price isn't really that much considering it is an appliance I would use as much as we use the oven. Most everyone that has one becomes part of the green egg cult and they never get rid of them. I only saw one person here that got rid of theirs. Must be pretty good I'm guessing.
