  1. YES! I've traveled to Kuwait, Dubai, and Bahrain. And I've never smelled so much cologne and perfume in my life! I don't have allergies and it bothered me terribly.
  2. I love the sound of freedom.
  3. I've been to "Ski Dubai" located inside the Mall of Emirates in Dubai. It was the biggest and busiest mall I have ever seen. The ski slope and tobaggon hill was packed! And it was one of the neater experiences I've had. I could see how it'd work for a tourist attraction...just not in GA.
  4. 400 hp (anything more and this girl would be in jail) and the rear view camera is pretty dang cool too.
  5. We are looking to buy a slightly larger, more quality home and I'm getting so frustrated. There are so many houses on the market, but they are all the same. They are on a postage stamp size property, with neighbors on top of them, and an HOA. I am sick of the same old Paulding COunty subdivisions and thats all it seems to be.
  6. Can't you file as "part year resident" of Georgia? We've had to do that for years. I'd call a CPA and get the correct answer.
  7. LMAO, "traitors". Yep, I've committed treason against my country because I have a preference in vehicles. That's a tad melodramatic, isn't it?
  8. I LOVE my Solara and when this one goes, I'll buy another. I also LOVE LOVE LOVE my Corvette (which is under recall), but I don't like American cars for my everyday driving.
  9. So to clarify, is this is for both active AND retired military?
  10. Hope he is okay, even though I left his practice years ago, I'd hate to hear he is in bad health.
  11. Try Legalzoom.com We have used them for numerous paralegal services and they have been excellent. They don't give legal advice but they file all the legal paperwork needed to complete the process. We have used them to start an LLC and also for wills and POA's. It wa so incredibly easy and they did a very professional job.
  12. It's technically "Canada Geese" not "Canadian Geese" even though it sounds weird to say it the correct way.
  13. Sanda Gane on Dallas Highway is great and so is 313 Salon in Marietta.
  14. Hang in there! I know it's not easy but hopefully you have a good support system in place already. My husband just returned from 633 days in Afghanistan and it wasn't easy. But it certainly makes it bearable when you have people around who can relate to your unique situation and are willing to help out without being asked. I always had a hard time asking for any assistance so I was blessed to have a few good people in my life who were ALWAYS there for me. I hope you are equally as lucky to have good people in your life. God Bless you and your family.
  15. I'm leaving for Costa Rica on Thursday for two weeks and would never let the prospect of an earthquake deter me. They happen everywhere.
  16. Prestige was great when I took some jewelry in for an appraisal for insurance purposes. They were very thorough but charged quite a bit for the service.
  17. We have a Tempurpedic that we bought at the Mattress Firm in Hiram. I could NEVER go back to anything else. Even my dog sleeps better on it. It was worth EVERY penny spent And in case you are looking for a Tempurpedic, don't bother shopping around for a lower price. They are the same price no matter what store you buy it from.
  18. Just thinking about this gets me choked up. My husband has spent the past 630+ days in Afghanistan and Iraq working for a civilian company after having retired from the USMC a few weeks before he left. We decided to do this as a couple and made a HUGE sacrifice to have an incredible future together. While I would have loved to wake up to my dear husband at my side, I wouldn't change it. We were blessed with incredible oppurtunities to travel and see each other and now our lives are an open book TOGETHER. Tomorrow morning I am traveling to the Mid East for the last time (will land on Christ
  19. I actually got a good deal out of it. Mine was $4.23 and his was only $3. I wish I knew how long it went on because there was quite the line at the drive thru behind me. I hope they kept it going.
  20. I went through Starbuck's around 1130 this morning. When I got to the drive thru window, the employee told me that the lady in front of me had paid for my coffee. Turns out, I was the 7th person in a row, so I kept it going, and paid for the person behind me. That put a smile on my face today, despite the crazy Hiram traffic.
  21. This year it will be airplane food.
  22. I replied to you in your "Four Legged Friendzy" post. Hope your pup is okay and is feling better soon.
