So easy to say that. But as a decent, understanding human; I am willing to allow the benefit of the doubt after the convicted seek help they require and serve their sentence. You'd be amazed how many people have had DUI's somewhere in their past and have gone on to be upstanding citizens in their community. I'm not condoning DUI. I also cannot cast judgment.

I wish I had seen it. I always liked her too. Glad Fox5 had her give an announcement instead of just letting her fade away without any explanation.

You sure you aren't from the South? Sorry about your friend. Cancer sucks.

Many countries require this for legal residency. I don't know why the US doesn't. I suppose it's all that "poor, weak, huddled masses" crap LOL

Isn't Tamerlin's wife an American? She worked 70-80 hours a week to get them off welfare finally last year. Meanwhile the douchebag was sitting at home plotting how to kill Americans.

I'm IN!!!!!! I think Morocco and Turkey would be the mecca (no pun intended at all) of Bazaars. I've been to a few in Dubai and Kuwait City and from what I hear, they pale in comparison. Although they were the sheeze to me in my limited experience. Let's GO to Morocco!!!!!

Precisely what I would have done. If they don't want it enough to pick it up than use it to your advantage. That Mei Lan is a craftily intelligent chick!

Wow, so "bizarre". Unless you are selling random items in a large, outdoor, Middle Eastern atmosphere. If the latter is the case...I WANNA GO!

I went to get my hair colored by a woman like this. I had to endure two hours of her blabbering nonsense. She didn't catch on that I was not engaging her. Even worse was that she was the SALON OWNER! Yes, this was in Paulding.

Ideas for 1 year wedding anniversary on a super low budget
justgettingby replied to ab_hawthorne's topic in RECENT TOPICS
The 1st Anniversary is the "Paper Anniversary", maybe you can somehow incorporate that into your celebration. Not sure what but you can get creative. For our first anniversary, I bought my husband and I dancing lessons (two step)...the paper came in the form of a gift certificate LOL. -

Oh, I just remembered that part of our testing was to watch episodes of "The People's Court (with Judge Wapner) and then answer questions about what we just watched. Huh?!?! -

The oddest one that I remember watching was "The Breakfast Club". I guess we were learning about stereotypes, etc. What was the movie with "Pony Boy" and "Milk something or another"? -
All states (and some of their counties) have some unique holidays. I remember specifically "Casimir Pulaski Day" when I lived in Illinois and "Evacuation Day" and "Bunker Hill Day" when I lived in Massachusetts.

I tell my husband every day and every night that I love him. I didn't always have that opportunity so I relish in it now. Now the both of us are following our dreams and moving to Central America. I can't think of a better way to go than with the love of my life while following our dream...together. I'll always live life to the fullest and I'll leave this world with a smile on my face.

Hate to say it and I hope this isn't true but uhhhh, you are clueless.

I think they have arrested one person, but don't want to spook the other possible suspects. The military and probably the government as well uses MISinformation all the time to catch suspects and illicit more information from sources. There is plenty going on in the background as I type this. On a side note: I got such a chuckle out of those who didn't know that cell signals, radio frequencies, etc can be jammed so no one can use them. This was done in Boston immediately following the bombings (and prevented dear friends of ours from being able to call family afterwards). My hu

I think it's all deliberate misinformation.

I hate to say it but this happens everyday to our servicemen and women overseas. It also happens to innocent civilians everyday around the world. We are just spoiled that it doesn't happen in the US very often and when it does, we never see the gruesome photos. We have a false sense of security. Most Americans think we are immune to it, even post 9-11 It's an effed up world that we live in.

A dear, dear, dear friend of mine finished 5 minutes before the explosions...right as my flight landed in Boston. My heart absolutely goes out to everyone in the area. Life is fleeting and some people are assholes.
