I've been to that Cabela's in Wheeling, WV (my husband's father played on stage in Wheeling back in the day). Actually, I believe it's Trideplhia. If I remember correctly, that land was long disputed and Cabela's won out. Apparently Bass Pro and Cabela's have la long standing feud with each other.

The article reads to me that he falsified his 2004 DD214. The article states; "“The United States Army has no record of the 2004 dd214 that Ladner presented to obtain his Purple Heart Georgia License plate,” Baker said." Which leads me to assume the DD214 was falsified. But that's up to a court to decide I suppose.
