  1. I only open up packages in my shop- box cutters, bolt cutters, saws, large hammers (in case the previous items fail to work) .....and the AMAZING X-Acto blade!!
  2. If you can find your way to Hiram Station tomorrow night....I WILL pay your cover charge, and buy you your first drink.....Footballbeerduddette!!
  3. This is the NEW problem I am seeing. Anyone who needs pain meds should look out...2 weeks max!!! After you've gone over a month, there will be withdrawal symptoms..sleepless nights, major case of the "runs"...if you know what I mean, and flu-like symptoms.....cramps, etc,. Elevated INtolerance to pain. If you are determined to break free, then you do this.....antihistamines, and Imodium AD for the runs. It takes about 3-4 days (for a common person who is simply trying to release themselves from the negative affects.) REMEMBER!!!!! You have a family who depends on you!!! God's speed!!!
  4. Same here! My Celica is so LOW to the ground that I have to map where I parked in a dept. store! On those hard to see hills, I have messed up my share of underwear, especially when the oncoming car was doing 75 mph on Ridge Road!! I SHARE the blame on that though....because 75 on Ridge Road is not a good thing!
  5. Very likely, and mighty kind of you to toss this info out there! You may have helped others by doing so....and that's what it's all about.
  6. Good and informative information. I'm just glad that I have noticed over the past couple of years that people are starting to shy away from this CRAP.....and it is just that...a death sentence. I have seen a few of my friends get themselves back together, rather than to have to bury them like I had to so many times when meth was a much larger scourge. Education is the key!!! Rehab??? Well, that rests solely on the person and how much THEY want to get off the stuff. It kills, maims, destroys families, turns good people into thieves, etc. I could go on and on, and I'm sure many of you know what
  7. I'm so glad to hear things like this. You both are remarkable women, and it was nothing but shear pleasure to read this. It's been an interesting week for me. Of course, the mower thing (golf carts too ) But today I helped a local church set up its new PA system, tomorrow, I am meeting a guy, and walking his property about prospective development issues, costs, etc. Then, tomorrow night, I get to go play with my band at Hiram Station. So, I pretty much got to get my hands (and brain) into a little of what few things I do know something about. The money hasn't been good this week, but ther
  8. I almost typed this.....just until I saw it!
  9. I can tolerate the items in bold...but toilets??? what tha hell is that all about??? Are they "stand-alone terlets or are they sanctioned within an outhouse?" this was a little foggy, so let me emphasize that I do NOT like women using the F word.....at all...and guys, sometimes who over do it.
  10. Since, we're both too busy working all day, we don't have the time anyhow.
  11. I'm not sure what all of that means, but you're probably right. I haven't had health insurance myself for 5 years (not counting a short 5 months with an AT&T outsource company). I've been lucky for those 5 years. My doctor will check me out for a reduced cost, and let's me make payments. So, at least I can afford "maintenance". My buddy is not so lucky though. If he could get coverage it be an awesome thing for him. He could actually have some residual problems fixed before they finally just take him out.
  12. I would second that. He's fixed a few of my problems...always does a good job, for less money than most people.
  13. CC??? What's that? Oh, you mean Caped Crusader? I told him that. Not sure if he called yet though.
  14. I'm glad she's back on it again. You should be good for a while as long as you keep using it regularly.
  15. "Trashy" in my opinion hinges a lot more on one's character than what they wear. While I try to keep my hair cut, and shave, I still went from Kacki's and nice shirts to ragged out shorts and sleeveless shirts with grease stains on them both. But, I'm still the same person I ever was.....only more desperate.
  16. I guess I'm just getting old, because I LOVE the hot weather. My joints don't hurt when I wake up, like in cold weather. I've got my fans going in the shop, and my milk jug of frozen water every day. Just stay hydrated!!
  17. Mornin'! Yep, gonna be a another hot one today, and I'm gonna be in it all day long. (Still beats the cold though!)
  18. Uhhh....not what my oldest daughter or my wife thought....most of the kids just wanted to sleep or play video games. WTH happened to today's youth??? They could have stayed home and done that crap....go figure.

    Suggestion

I've made enough great friends out this way, that hot tubs and swimming pools (and some great fishing holes) are just a fringe benefit of doing business with them. But, you still have a good idea.
  20. Oh yes.....I can just barely remember "vacations"....it's been about 5 years since I had one. I really don't expect to have another for a long time to come. ONE day of fishing works for me. Even when I had 5 weeks of paid vacation, my brain would fizzle after the 3rd day or so, and it took me another week at work to get it going again. Although, I did enjoy just spending a week at home working in the yard, fishing, etc. and being PAID for it. Those days are gone......forever, I fear.
  21. They were on the road to vacation at Blue Ridge. It's all good....my wife knows better!
  22. I'm not sure....my wife just told me this evening. Not sure even if she remembered the name. But, it's getting rampant everywhere. And hey....I'm just here to help. My business, although not automotive, has clued me into plenty of scamming on women. I have spent my years in automotive when I was younger, and still do all my own repairs on everything I drive. But for these guys to say this stuff, AFTER I already did a full brake service was over the top for me!
  23. My master mechanic has a myriad of health problems with his arm. After losing his job because of the problem, he has no insurance. He wanted me to try to get some info from you guys, with some names, numbers, and approx. prices on affordable personal insurance. I would appreciate anything you folks could send our way. You can PM me or simply send the info to my personal email: glennjiles@comcast.net Thanks a million!! He's in a world of hurt, and some kind of insurance is his only way to remedy the situation. You'd not only be doing him a favor, but my company as well, since he's an in
  24. My daughter "thought" she heard a noise in her brakes, so they stopped in at some place on Barret Pkway, before even getting out of town. So this guy gives my wife this "line of crap" about how she needs to have at least $145 worth of brake work done on my daughter's car.....guess what??? My mechanic and I just got through doing her brakes!!! Luckily my wife was smart enough to tell the guy to go stack some BB's or something with his time. He said the rotors were worn (we know they were smooth as a baby's butt), and that he needed to flush the entire brake system (we also did that). I sw
