I'm just a man.....flesh and blood. What can I say? Tow keeps me at bay!! Also, a fine young man, I might add.

Bwitchy and copschick....great folks, and lots of fun!!! (sorry, that was off topic, but it's still true!)

I would have to go with a Tucker....ahead of its time (in its day), and everyone bigger on the block is trying to shut me down! That's just a knee-jerk answer. Perhaps after some musing on the question, I could better refine my stance.

Outside Bugs....spiders, ants (all kinds) and other bugs
subby1 replied to GeorgiaTornado's topic in RECENT TOPICS
I stopped using pesticides about 3 years ago, EXCEPT for spraying Raid's flying insect spray about every two days around the opening in my garage. Spiders have proven to be a great asset in keeping bugs and other things at bay. You can see the proof underneath every web there is. Spiders and those really small bats that fly around at night, keep the skeeters and bugs in check really well. I cured the cock-roach problem years ago by simply demanding that my family not leave food lying around. I haven't seen a roach in a LONG time. While my family is all girls, they freak out about spiders. -
There's a NASTY little thing to check for, folks, if you're in the market for an Echo hand held weed eater or blower. The culprit is a carburetor on these machines that is called a Zama Rotary (RB). They are NOT adjustable, built in China, and required to reduce emissions (HA!!! on a 2-stroke engine that uses oil in the gas, this is just a freaking joke! ). The Echo machines are as great as ever, high compression and lots of power, BUT, they are now being outfitted with a throw-away, and very expensive to replace, carburetor. Replacing the carb with a new one costs almost $100, and you'll b

No calls yet.....anyone have any junkers??? I'm ready to pick them up when you are.

Exactly....most I have talked to quoted the exact percentages you just quoted. Only after the 5 year mark came around, the mortgage companies twisted a few things here and there, and that promised "locked in" 4.5% didn't turn out right. She (one person in particular) was slammed with over 8%, plus a loophole they used to make sure they still ended up getting every nickle back, plus extra. It basically involved an "unforeseen" balloon payment required to sustain the promised 4.5%.....which was a LOT of money to pay up front to make the contract valid as per the initial agreement. I'm just sayin

BINGO!!! -
I don't get all this "underwater" phrase that has apparently been coined. However, this is the BEST time ever to rent a home. Most people have lost their credit and can't buy a house of their own. They are somewhat enslaved to renting, and the rental prices are hefty now. Makes great sense to me from a money making stand point. Is the 5 years at 2% up yet?????
-
While that was funny.....please, seek help!!!! The only thing I tap is the faucet when I fill up my milk jugs with water to freeze for the next day's work. p.s. I don't dig soccer moms, nor saggy boobs (unless they're REALLY HUGE ones.) ....and that's TWO houses down, not 3. (Folks, I kid, I jest, all in good fun)

That 2% is temporary, and I've already heard stories from people who rent properties, who said after that 2% period, the increase was NOT what was agreed upon. Besides, the banks will be bust again in about 2-3 more years, so there won't be no point in even trying. They have already burned up most of their bailout money (our tax money), and they are sitting with a large bag of worthless homes. How do you think they can rebound from that? It's just as dumb as the fact that our national debt costs more in interest, than what we actually purchased. The interest payments have sorely surpassed

Great post here too. If MORE people would do this, then banks would be forced into trying to help you keep the home you have. You would have to file B.R., but that's a simple $1,200 fee to get these vampires off your back. While someone on here said, it's not the bank's fault, I wuld take exception to that. Artificially lowering interest rates (as Greenspan did for YEARS) is not rocket science to the banks. They are well versed in this, yet they STILL took the bait. It was shortsighted on their part, and now it's time to pay the piper. I have ZERO sympathy fro ANY bank- they were given billion

I LOVE your logic!!! My $130K house is now worth about 90K, last time I checked. It begs the question..."what's the freakin' point?". The BANKS started all of this with those sub-prime loans back when, so not only is a logical decision, from a monetary aspect, but it places the fiscal burden back on to the banks- the ones who started this crap to begin with. Ethically, you speak of......I don't see an ethnic problem in trying to better one's self by taking advantage of using common sense. The ONLY thing that keeps me from walking away from my home is the fact that I have really good neig

Dang....I wanted to say something about this thread, but I forgot what it was! Yes, at only 46 years old, I have a mild case of CRS, and it gets worse every day. Drumming up business, working two jobs, and selling a lot of things, I have a hard time keeping up, these days. I'm hoping bizz will pick up enough soon to bring my secretary back in- that's like having a brain always on tap when I need it. -
Priced to sell!!! $110. Features a 6.25 HP Briggs engine that cranks on the first pull. New pull rope, new blade, new belt, rebuilt carb, new oil, etc. 21" mulching mower. Will accept rear bag (not included). Large "wagon wheels" on rear. And excellent mulching mower. Front wheel self propelled drive system with new gears. Trigger operated trans for easy operation. Reduced to $110, down from $140. Call Glenn 678-315-8794 (Also still have 3 riding mowers, all in great shape).

If you have any broken down mowers that you need hauled away, please give me a call. I had to haul most of my stuff off last week to make some money, so now I'm in need of some more junkers. While this clears things out of your way, it also allows me to save my customers money by being able to use used parts, which are a mere fraction of what new parts sell. In some cases, I have looked up parts for machines that cost 80% of what the entire machine costs!! No lie! So, drop me a line if I can get these things out of your way. Thanks folks. Last I heard, an ID must be shown and they copy it. I'm not sure if the chip ID was completed yet. But the previous owners know who I am, so should it come to a problem, I'll just change out the info then,(I'm sure they'll contact me) and assume responsibility for my dog.

GOT RIDING MOWERS THAT ROCK!!! Call me tomorrow- 678-315-8794. I'll take you thru the mall of mowers! I have ONE self propelled left....will sell for $120. Worth every nickle. First pull crank, new blade, and everything that comes with my sales.
-
Thank you. It's too bad that this info is not better available. Seems like it should be just so people can't be wasting A.C's time without some sort of legit gripe.

I (we) believe this to be the case....5 homes just on my little street have been foreclosed on and are being rented....to God knows who.
-
Trust me...this man sounded like he would love to!! He actually apologized for having to stop in and bother me about it. Second time they came by, and both times my dog was in his kennel inside the house. He HATES hot weather, so after he goes out to do his business, he's straight back in the basement and in his AC cooled kennel.
-
Is there a way to find out who called them on you? A gentleman pulled up in my driveway and said someone gave them my full name, etc. Said my dog (which I walk on a leash) was peeing on their vegetable garden around their mailbox- I don't let my dog even pee on someone's flowers. The AC guy was very upset....not with me, but whoever it was who apparently calls a lot on other dogs in the neighborhood as well, only to find out there's nothing happening. When he tried to find a veggie garden in the neighborhood, there was none to be found. He really WANTED to tell me who it was, but said he was n

Business has picked up considerably since the rain has hit us, but I'm still game. The ONLY thing I do not do is hedges, unless they are smaller (6' or less in height.) But, grooming your yard, edging, weed eating and blowing it all off, absolutely! If you'd like to PM your address, I can drop by for an estimate. Glenn/Subby

It's all a load of crap - see my blog thread on E-gas problems. Most of all, to grow this particular strain of corn, which is not fit to eat, costs farmers precious land needed to grow the edible strains. Stupid, stupid, stupid.
