  1. It's all good to go now. See you this evening.
  2. Well, that stands to reason! You know I don't sell junk! To tell you the truth, I can rebuild a 10 year old mower, and I SWEAR it will blow away anything you can buy new, if you just wait about 1 year. I reckon I oughta know, since my shop fills up with NEW or basically new equipment all the time. The EPA has forced most mower manufacturer's to meet certain emissions levels. This leaves little to no adjustments to be made on carbs. Bottom line- they suck. I have a back yard FULL of brand new equipment that people just brought me after finding out that not only can the place they bought it fr
  3. Were they legally prescribed? I saw this post and thought the guy was blasted from drinking. What kind of Rx's were they? Too little info on this story, IMO. However, I DO remember Hosea Williams pulling over on the side of I-285 and crashing off a major likker binge....of course he got off the hook. Then you have the Mayor of Washington, DC smoking crack with a ho...and he gets RE-ELECTED...... We DO get the government we deserve, since WE are the voters. What does it all mean, Alice??? Many of my friends & some family are cops, and some of them like to drink a little (someti
  4. Nor do I.... I LOVE this stuff right here too!! Ahhh...crap, guys. I apologize for the F word being shown...never saw this video, only heard the song, and loved it. Pubby or a mod can take this off, if it's crossing a line.
  5. You crack me up....bring it to me. I'll take car of ya...very reasonably, I might add. I figure that as long as your dilithium chamber is still secure, and the crystals still have their Ummph, then I can focus directly on the warp drive inverter switching mechanism. Those tend to go out after about 10-12 light years of use. How's the tractor beam doing though??? Okay, I hope. Until you can bring it by, try to remain on impulse power only....save the auxiliary if at all possible! The last thing we need is a saucer separation from an overheating plasma coil!! Trashes the whole dan
  6. I've read a LOT of really funny comments about all of this. But, since Saturday's over, I look forward to better subjects....if you know what I mean.

  9. 10 p.m. in the county.
  10. Man, that sucks. I'm glad he's still gonna be okay, but that just bites. My condolences to the feller. As far as being on the roof, there are a multitude of reason why a manager would go up there to fix any kind of problem, especially inadequate ventilation. Even if a manager aint trained in how to repair a unit, they still have the training (and common sense) to go check where ever who have to, in order to track down a problem.
  11. Lord knows she tried, but in the end, "the possum" lost that battle! Good for Tammy!
  12. I think it all depends on your neighborhood. Sometimes we get loud until 3 a.m., but not enough to ruffle anyone's feathers. We tend to be laid back around here, as long as no one crosses, like a......"stupid line".
  13. I agree.....I am also glad I had mine done when I was a baby. Imagine being 13 back in the day!! Oouch!!!
  14. sorry..that remark made me spew my tic-tac onto my desk. btw, from what I've read on pcom, 10 p.m. (quiet time) However.....I just heard a cop siren running down Ridge Road...and it sounds like he stopped at the entrance to my sub...hmm...if he needs to use my router, he's welcome. (or she).
  15. Country music? ANYTHING and EVERYTHING by ALAN JACKSON. Rap???? The only GOOD rap I ever liked was by Slim Shadey.....Ironic, huh? Okay..I have to give Usher some credit too. Personally, I prefer my the stuff I grew up with- Starting with AC/DC and working those years up to Grunge, namely Pearl Jam (and some Nervana). But my fav's will always be SOUTHERN ROCK!!! Allman Bro's, Lyn. Skyn., Molly Hatchet, 38 Special, etc.....if there's a Van Zant in the band, then I'm all over it. Van Halen (NOT Van Hagar) Sammy should have stuck with his own stuff. And RUSH always fills my void!! Hall &

  17. So, how do they know the age of the kid? Check his ID?
  18. Funny how some "person" knows this, yet the Bible states at least twice that NO ONE knows, not even Jesus, Himself. Some more of that "selective reading" I would say.

  21. You may be right. There is a certain "comfort" in a steady check. I had one for 5 months with that AT&T outsourced company. But, after being laid off from engineering 4-5 years ago, and working for myself on mowers, when we got laid off after those 5 months, I can't say it really bothered me. I was only clearing about $400 a week, working 40 hours a week, and I also gained back about 25 lbs. I just like working for myself. I don;t have health insurance, but I do have a great doctor who will let me pay down $20 and pay off the rest when I can. It's a little scary- for whatever reason, b
