  1. Yeah I kind of wish we would always stay in the 60s-70s for a high temp. It's really the only time I feel comfortable because I stay so hot. In the summer I cannot leave the a/c for more than just a few minutes. In the winter I will be hot with a jacket on but I need a hood for my ears and nose or I will get an earache and runny nose. So I love 60-70 degree temps.
  2. I am LOVING it! Don't worry, we will soon be back up to 88 degrees this week. http://forecast.weather.gov/MapClick.php?site=ffc&zmx=1&zmy=1&map.x=109&map.y=89
  3. That would be great. I hate chicken quarters or bone in breasts. LOL I would like to start buying there and even purchased an upright freezer last fall during the no tax sale. So I am ready now.
  4. Will they do some substitutions in their bundle packs? I wouldn't mind paying a price difference if I could get the meats we want.
  5. Thank you for the tip. I want to go see it but hubby doesn't, so I guess I will go alone. I've already bought the AC/DC soundtrack and love it.
  6. I am not sure about using Amazon books on the Sony reader. The reviews on the readers are mixed depending on what you need. The Sony ereader has a slot for memory cards that you can store your books on indefinitely, while the Kindle does not. However, the book selection from Amazon for Kindle is larger and usually less expensive per book. So basically which reader you like the most would depend upon your needs. I have the Sony ereader because I seem to accumulate a TON of books, which I can start saving on memory cards now. I literally have 6, 6'foot tall book cases full in the house. Oh and H
  7. Isn't this one going to be for all of the finalists?
  8. Haha! I bet Subby could build one for him.
  9. I am in Twelve Oaks and it is no longer just the cars that are being broken in to. A couple of weeks ago my neighbors called the police because someone was breaking into a foreclosed home on the other side of them. The police caught 3 boys in the act, age was approximately 13 years old and this was around 9:30 at night! I heard they were arrested, so I assume that means juvenile detention and facing a judge. The thing is our street has always been pretty quiet the 12 years we have been here. Then about 2 weeks before Easter I caught an older teenage boy (15-19 I am guessing) coming out fr
  10. OMG! I talk to the bakery ladies in that store all the time and wondered why the deli and bakery employees were so quiet tonight when I was in the store at 9:30pm. Do we have a picture of Penney? I would like to know which lady she was in the bakery.
  11. Isn't there a fault line near Little River Canyon in that area? I know GA has a fault line too and in the past couple of years we have had a 3 pointer. They are becoming more frequent lately.
  12. I am usually still awake at this time EVERY day/night. Yep, if you are on the internet then you are never alone.
  13. Some diamonds have a certification number laser engraved on them. So tiny that you can only see the number under magnification. The center stone in my engagement ring has this. They may be asking for this type of verification.
  14. A flash flood warning has already went out for parts of Cobb, Fulton, Douglas and Carroll counties. Be careful out there.
  15. Refresh my memory. Where is Brookstone?
  16. If it was only $200 then you are very lucky! Alot of septic tank problems can run into the thousands. Once a month use RidX down the toilet to help prevent future problems. It's a safe bacteria that eats up solid waste in the septic tank.
  17. So cool and a wonderful idea! I hope you did eat afterwards? Congrats!
  18. I think everyone who has had a house foreclosed on, in Paulding county within the past 2 years, should be allowed to pitch a tent and form a tent city with others in the new courthouse parking lot. There should be plenty of space.
  19. Nuh uh on the July 1st. My tanning salon is already charging the extra 10% on my $45/month charge. I just renewed it about 1.5 weeks ago and seen it on my charge slip, plus we were discussing it at the checkout counter.
  20. Maybe my recent bill with an April 30th due date was before the rate increase? Not sure.
  21. Make sure you get at least 1-2 that aren't just copies but CERTIFIED copies. Some services require those.
  22. In the past year our bills show usage between 1800-3000 gallons for a household with 2 adults and 4 cats. Our bill usually runs between $15-20 and sometimes a $25 will come in. Look at the back of your bill and it will show how much charge is per 1,000 gallons of water used, plus the base monthly charge, and if you use the county sewer then there is a charge per 1,000 gallons for it. We don't have a sewer charge and I can only assume that is because we have a septic tank or maybe the bill just doesn't itemize it. Maybe you should start checking your meter yourself to make sure you are being co
