Neither is the Briar Patch and the original building had been there for decades. I miss it.

Oscar I had a really bad day but when I read this my laughter was echoing off the bedroom walls. This was just too cute! Thank you for sharing. -
Grocer on E Memorial in Dallas now has a security guard?

Didn't they have an armed robbery last year or the year before? -
Absolutely ridiculous. During 1-1hour show the other night on DirecTV I seen 3 census commercials. This could have went toward better things in the US that are needed. Hubby and I have already agreed that certain information we will not be including on ours. We don't have anything to hide (nothing illegal here) but we don't believe the government has a right to certain private information just for a head count.

The ibuprofen gels seem to work much better and quicker for me than the tablets. Aleve doesn't work for me at all but some people it does. Yes, it sounds like you have some inflammation going on and it can create more, an anti-inflammatory will stop the cycle. If a muscle rub (like BenGay or the blue ice stuff) doesn't bother you then take a hot shower and put some on. Be careful though as some of them contain aspirin. If you feel it is more in the joint than the muscles then you should see your doctor. My only episode of bursitis was in my shoulder from simply lifting a heavy bag of trash

With my fibromyalgia, insomnia, allergies and other problems my medications ALONE would cost over $1000/month without insurance and this does not count doctor visits, lab testing, etc. or my husbands 2 medications. When he changed jobs over 3 years ago we didn't have insurance with the new company for 3 months. We used COBRA coverage with his previous employer and it was cheaper than just my medications to pay the COBRA charge for insurance coverage at a cost of $880/month. Even with this cost I still oppose the nationwide healthcare plan because of the lack of complete medical care repor

We are just going out to dinner, cards and a small gift. Since hubby travels, sometimes we have to do the celebrating the weekend before or after. This year it will be the weekend before, but I am trying to talk him into a 4 day weekend at Myrtle Beach maybe during April or May. My birthday is in April but I wonder if it will still be too chilly then? We haven't had a trip together in many years.

I have used both a mega lay down type of bed and a stand up bed in another location. The effectiveness of the lamps didn't seem any different other than it is harder to tan on the legs in the stand up bed. The air circulation in the stand up bed was cooler to me, but this was at another location so I am not sure if it is the same style with the fan in top at your location.

Renting Movies From the Stand Alone Boxes
msgastorm replied to sharee.smith's topic in RECENT TOPICS
The last time I rented a movie at RedBox we couldn't watch it because it had a huge scratch in it. Where do you call if that happens? I was also afraid that they might say we did it but we didn't. -
OMG hilarious! Some of the witness' sarcastic remarks makes me think of husband. He is SO sarcastic he is always making me laugh.

Yep, 2 of my 4 cats snore, and one of those 2 is the female. Two of my cats are brothers and both of them will make this kind of chattering/meowing noise when they see a bird outside the window or see a moth in the house that they can't get too! It is too funny. I have since found out that this is characteristic in Turkish Angoras and they look like they are from that breed.

Because in Canada you will DIE before receiving their so called benefits. This happened to my Aunt in law when she had breast cancer. They couldn't get her approved to get in often enough for her chemo treatments. Hubby grew up in a small town about 20 miles from the Canadian line and several family members live in Canada. His family knows of many Canadians who come over the line to be treated in the states because of the red tape involved with the "free healthcare" over there. I pray to God we never have that crap in the U.S.

Cold hands or a heart condition can cause this. Does she have any type of rheumatology problem? Raynaud's syndrome can be caused by a rheumatic problem. Does she have any numbness, tingling, or pain ANYWHERE? I would suggest she see her doctor if she has any other symptoms or if it happens again.

I try too and I am always doing internet searches but my doctor refuses to keep looking. It is possible to have another disease with the fibromyalgia as a secondary disease, so yeah this really ticks me off.

St. John's Wort can help some people who have very mild depression or pain, but be careful as it causes birth control pills to become inaffective. I tried it once for about 6-9 months almost 10 years ago. It took about 6 weeks at a pretty high dose for me to feel anything, but some prescription antidepressants will not work with me or quit working. The best pain relief from an antidepressant for me is Cymbalta but it leaves me with horrible anxiety that the Effexor had worked great on. For some fibromyalgia patients an antidepressant is enough for pain, for me it never has been.

If you get internet with AT&T Uverse then their fastest download speed is 18 Mbps. The speeds vary according to which package you purchase. From what I am told it isn't like their regular DSL or cable because it is fiber optics, so I am not sure. I do know that with AT&T Uverse you do not need a home phone/land line like you need with their regular DSL.

I grew up around my grandparent's cattle farm in west Paulding when they were alive. I can remember the family processing our own deer, pigs and chicken but I don't remember the slaughter/processing of our own cows. I will have to ask mom if they did when she was younger. I do know that the cattle mostly ate the pasture grass and hay depending on what time of year it is, but I bet they also received some cracked corn. My grandmother raised her own chickens and pigs for us to eat. She even had her own smokehouse for hams and made her own sausage. It was wonderful! Now my mom raises her own

We used H&R Block for years but each year the amount would go up until we were paying $120 for an itemized return. So after that I used TaxCut one year and didn't like it. The next year I used TurboTax it was great and easy, so for about 4 years now we have been using it for itemized state and federal returns. If you file electronically and get it deposited electronically, then you can receive your refund in 1-2 weeks. I just bought this years copy of TurboTax on Wednesday from Best Buy. When I got to the register I found out it was $10 off so that was great because this year I had to

Oh thank you. He grew up in Minnesota though so he isn't totally inept in ice, but freezing rain is different.

Hubby is in NC working right now. In the area he is in they aren't getting snow but freezing rain. He said I74 was a total mess when he went in at 6am but he thinks it is from people following too close. I kept telling him that he better watch this afternoon and try to leave early because it is supposed to get much worse there. He is in a plant that is only 6 miles from the hotel but said he had to drive 20 mph to get there. Crazy man.

LMAO! Now I have the song "Fire Starter" going through my head. It sounds great in hubby's truck.

Got ours. It's with Greystone. It went up by $50 since last month and we are gas heat, water and stove. However I did run a lot of Christmas lights for 4 hours a day, so I don't think it was bad for us. Yes our gas bill doubled compared to last month but we had 2 weeks in the teens.
