I want to challenge everyone to support one of our own. Tonight Wade Lowman will be singing to raise money for our food pantry in The Crusade to Stomp Out Hunger. Regardless of where you stand on church I wish everyone would pull together to support this cause and bring awareness to the fact that people are going hungry that have fell on hard times and can't support themselves. There will be singing and someone will speak and we have several items for sale. So come out and support the cause, who knows the one you help today could be helping you tommorrow. My theory on the flu and swine flu vacine: I once worked with a man that swore by the vacine and every year he would argue with me that if I did not get it I would get the worst case of the flu ever. For fifteen years we had the same arguement, every year he got it and within a week he would be out of work with the flu. I told him every year I would take my chances of not getting it, I have not had the flu since I was a kid, so I am not going to get injected with the virus to prevent the virus. Just my thoughts, everyone has thier own opinion and that is mine.

I am wanting to take my boy's to a mud bog, I have seen several people talking about them on here and was wandering when and where the next one was going to be around here.

When I seen this topic I immediatley thought of my 8 year old son who constantly asks this. When he is eating breakfast he wants to know whats for lunch or supper, lunch he asks whats for supper or can he have a snack after supper. Bless his little heart I love him to death but I think the boy has a tape worm, he eats as much or more than most adults, you just can't fill him up

Thank you for the donations and buying the peanuts. But I was wondering where the ones you got done ? They still cooked for 1 1/2 to 2 hours and I have found some that are still not quite done, if they were not done I owe you a bag and I apologize.

I am not sure the sizes I am not with them. I think some are blue jeans. Alot of the items with tags on them is womens in the clothes. I have alot of purses from Khol's still has tags on them. Sorry should have clarified the guys things are mostly used items. The womens items are the ones that have the tags on them. Sorry about that.

Yes maybe you can. We have tons of new items still has the tags on them. Lots of clothes,we have a heater- natural gas wall heater, guy things. I am excited about this one. Well I am all of them, it is helping people that I enjoy the most.

Ok alot of you tell me I never have anything for you at our church yard sales. Well that has now changed! This Saturday we will have alot of guy things. Someone has donated alot of things I think guys will love. Way to much to list. But come out early and take a look. The sale starts at 8am and goes to 3pm. This Saturday Oct. 3rd. At Simple Gospel Church located at 294 W I Parkway across the street from Ingles turn into the Sav-a-lot gas station and we are to the right. Thanks Pubby, today my computer said it picked up the trojan and bloodhound virus and a couple of worms and kept putting up blocks and shutting down but I seen this and done it and seems to have fixed it. Thanks, my wifes just died tuesday and they said it was shot so I didn't need another one but I am going to try it on that one too.

Last Sept 27 my foot got broken by a compaction machine. 2 surgeries and a year later still have trouble with it. Sept 3 2009 tore the tendon from the bone in my other foot, now I have a cast on it and limping on the other. Praise God anyway because through it all He kept me and my family safe and secure

There is no such thing as a stupid question except a unasked question especially when it concerns the safety of a child. Some may seem stupid but if you don't know then there is only one way to find out. I don't think it would hurt, if you have not lost water pressure especially just for a bath, if the water looks clean and smells clean(chlorine) you should be fine to bathe in, I would wait for the county to give the all clear before drinking it because they should do a bacteria test on it.

I'm not an engineer but it looks like water is coming through the face of the dam in the picture as well as when I passed it today. My wife went passed it yesterday and described it as Niagra Falls with the water pouring over the top of it. So maybe it can be saved, I know from experience when a dam has to be reconstructed it is a mess.
