I manage a facility over there and my night guys can't make it in. Police have closed the road at the small bridge at Westgate Drive. There is a small stream there that apparently isn't small anymore.

LMAO!!!!!!!!!!!!
-
But tonight they are only turning it off if your house number ends in an odd number.

I work in the same area and the same thing happened to me this morning. I had to come back home.

Those were my thoughts exactly!!! Bring on the tee pees! Don't be mad; just havin' some fun.

They actually interviewed MacFarlane's on the news but I can't remember which channel. We have gotten some coverage but I do agree; not as much as Gwinnett. I heard that Paulding has 60 closed roads; that is pretty substantial! This forum is my main source of information.

Radio just said 60 roads closed in Paulding Cty

I always bragged about living off the beaten path - LOL - I feel safe but seems I am a bit cut off from where I am supposed to be. Prayers for those who are in danger. A lady in Gwinnett county died in her minivan. -
It is very scary out there. Water on most roads and the police are everywhere.

Ridge to 92 - tried going right and left and road closed eventually in both directions. Someone suggested Burnt Hickory to Cobb but not sure how to get there from Ridge. I know Waters is closed. If I get to Dallas-Nebo to Bill Carruth - is Bill Carruth open?

Heading Bethel church to 92 and then to Tidwell to Brownsville Anyone know how those areas are?

I have lived in 3 states and never experienced the unending rain and storming; the lightening just doesn't stop! -

Mars Hill or Mill and Due West problems. I did not pay attention to details. -
Heard about the flooding but this pic makes it look much worse than I imagined. Yikes. This is getting scary and it is still pouring outside.

I have never seen a storm stay in place for such a long time. It went on for hours. I thought I might see Noah go by.

I add salt and pepper and then rub with stone ground mustard and bake at 375. For some reason, mustard just does well with pork! We love this recipe!!

Oh goodness. It really is a problem. But; clean as you go works pretty good. For young children, I think picking up after yourself and clearing the table of your own plate, etc. is quite appropriate. Plus - 1 fifteen minute task per day that helps with the general upkeep of the home. Putting away your own laundry - folding the towels, unloading bottom drawer of the dishwasher, feeding the dog, walking the dog. As they get older, the chore might be 30 minutes per day. Even young children can spare just 15 minutes of contributing to the cause. My kids thought I was the meanest mom

Takes big brass ones, doesn't it?

I once gave some guy money at our office - stupid; and I knew I'd never get it back but I gave him $10. There were kids in the car and I figured maybe they'd at least get a dollar burger out of it!

A few deep breaths; close your eyes and the illusions will go away. breathe in; breathe out; now, take a look; are the chickens gone?

I don't own a business; but I am a manager of a facility for a large company. If I didn't delegate, I would run the entire facility on my own - impossible to do and would limit the size that a business can grow! I had lunch with a business owner yesterday; he started from scratch 15 years ago; he hired hard workers, paid them in the top percentile of the job description, and promised them a share of the business if he ever sells. He is now in bringing down a few cool million or two; no employee has ever quit; and his staff is exceptional; he only has to manage and generate new busin

Well that is one great thing to do! And your kids will have those wonderful memories!

Help with contacting Biological Grandparents

I did not see the show but I know there are groups out there; volunteers; who will help you. It might take one of them to approach the family on your behalf. I am sure they have experience with approaching families who are not necessarily excited about helping with information. Good luck!! -
Sauteed shrimp, brown rice topped with broc and cheese.

Hey, I'm running just a little late; keep it warm for me.
