I also heard this broadcast this morning. Well; may God show him the compassion and mercy he shows so little of; with others. So tragic.

My credit card company called the day after the mysterious charges and brought it to my attention. I'm not much of a "games" and "i-tunes" girl and they called to ask about the charges. Sure enough! I think it was probably a restaurant that I went to last week. This happened once before and it was a restaurant. The lady on the phone said that it was pretty common. You give your card to that innocent little face at the restaurant; it has everything but your address which is probably available on line! Little *&%%&*)

I also use Purina One - Lamb and Rice. I started using lamb and rice years ago with another pet who had a gazillion allergies. The lamb and rice is good for that. We do have the occasional "boofer" at our house - but nothing that blows our socks off!

Awwwwwwwwww! That is just too cute! Then they grow up and make poops; but we still love them!

Well it seems like the "L" wire or rabbit wire is the answer. I'll just have to control them until the weekend when I can handle it myself. Yuk!

I have a chain link fence and 3 of my 4 furbabies have figured out how to push under it. So I need some additional length or some stakes to pull and hold it down. Who can do that??

I have had the stewed tomatoes; and added a pinch of sugar to sweeten them. I LOVE squash in any way, shape or form; just never had it stewed. May have to "google" it and give it a try!

What seasonings do you add? Do you mash it?

It takes a lot of careers to make this world go round; and to make the world easier for so many. I am thankful for those who are content to pick up my garbage; cook and serve my food in a restaurant, mop the floors at the grocery store, or empty the bed pans, etc. That way, I don't have to figure out what to do with my garbage each week; I can go out to eat; I can go buy groceries in a store that is clean. The list is endless. I just hate it when I hear or read about people who look down their noses at those who choose not to be; or are unable to be, a rocket scientist. If life was

Birds were back again this morning! Not loving it!

As a transplanted yankee; we were well educated on ice safety as children; and did the same for our own. My guess is that it is such a rare event here that people just don't think to do the same. And heck; teenagers; they are out and about looking for the perfect hill to sled on; or the perfect ice patch on the road to slide on; and they came across a pond. It was innocence with a tragic consequence. I pray they will all recover. I know that the frigid temperatures are sometimes a blessing in these cases and preserve the lives of the victims. Prayers for the families.

I am a chardonnay girl. I sometimes cannot read all the posts on here about the animals; because I can't take it. If I ever win the lottery, I will open a shelter to care for all abandoned and mistreated animals to offer them a quality of life environment. I'll drink to that!! LOL

I have never seen anything like this! My yard looked completely black and when they left to fly into the trees it was unbelieveable. They haven't come back after the last time.

I chased them off 3 times. They fly into the trees and then come back to my yard and neighbors yard. I have never seen anything like this except in movies. What is going on? They are large, black, with a bit of shiny blue around the head. This is creepy!
