I had a little one with a very high fever during that storm and the pediatrician told us we had to make it to the hospital; which we did. I will never forget that storm.

Well, I do love the bakery - Buzz! I may very well do exactly that and pick up an assortment served w. some vanilla ice cream! Just feeling a bit guilty about not doing the homemade thing.

My 2004 Corolla has been a fantastic car. No recall; no problems. I was thinking about upgrading soon but have my doubts about the current models so will bide my time. This one works fine; so I'll wait and make a decision later.

Great idea! My dd was recently visiting here and was so surprised to hear that the bakery was closed on Sunday. I like it!

Oh goodness! you guys haven't had a good week. We have all gone thru this; I used to have "loud talks" with God. Semi yelling and crying; like "I know you only give what I can handle but I think you are pushing the darn limit here, big Guy!" And "ok, ok - enough already!" Or "and where is the money coming from "this" time?". You'll pull through it; and wonder how you did. Ten years from now it makes for a great story at family gatherings. Take care!

One year, we read up on Andersonville and made that trip one day; another time, we went to the Atlanta zoo (look for discount tickets); check out the Puppetry schedule in Atlanta. Day trips can be lots of fun as someone else suggested. Pack up a lunch and just go. Have fun! Fernbank, too!

Get yourself registered with several; around the areas where you would like to work. Be sure to go in person so they feel connected to you when they have jobs come up.

And some day they will grow up and have kids; and a snowman and feel like poop!

Try temping. Many employers like to work with someone before offering them a full time position. To to the temp agency in person and ask for an interview! Good luck.

I actually just made chili last week and did something different. I made black bean, chicken chili and it was delicious. I think I loved it more than regular chili. I topped it with ricotta and chredded cheese and crunched salsa sun chips. Incredible!!

Those are great. I just loved watching my dogs. The cats wanted no part of it. They went out and then right back in!
