I filled my feeder last night and it is almost empty - will have to refill again tonight. But I also have to put up with the male cardinal attacking my window because he sees his own image and tries to attack himself! It entertains my indoor dogs and cats! Feed our feathered friends!!

It is too glorious to just call it pretty! Snow-laden boughs - looks like a Christmas card. Driving home on Brownsville; trees bent over from both sides; it was driving thru a snow tunnel.

They explained that on the news this morning. That is snow that is melting, or being absorbed before it hits the ground. Has something to do with the air temperature, I think.

Well, my ex-husband's Dad came from the "hills" of Kentucky; and I DO mean "the hills". During family reunions, the nine brothers and sisters would sit around in a circle and start talking about the old times. It was so much fun to listen to them. They were really poor and ate dinners from a canning jar - they had no plates. They have stories of playing around with a hatchet while chopping wood and they chopped off part of their little brother's toes. Another time, their parents went to town and told them NOT to burn off the field until they got home; but the older boys did it anyway a

Terrible tragedy; but I have some questions. If the house was on fire for 5 hours, how come she did not make it out? There were 5 hours between the calls. I think they were totally irresponsible; but I am still puzzled as to why she did not make it out in that time frame.

Because of some suggestions from pcom, we went to Pigeon Forge last year and had a wonderful time. Again, I need something priced reasonably for me and my granddaughters (11 and 9). Hope y'all can help me out again this year.

OMG! Melted in my mouth! Delicious! It cost me $16.99/lb at Harry's; too much; but will find a way to do bulk; or whatever. This was from a local source (don't know who). It was absolutely incredible. My DD and I were quite impressed and I will look for a source in the very near future that won't be as expensive; but has the same quality.

Here we go back in time; drop clothespins in the milk bottle and whoever gets the most in their age group gets a prize. You use the clothespins that are long - not the "spring type". Plastic bowling pin game. Have fun!!!
