Do you have any idea how hard it is to remove spray paint from porus materials such as brick without damaging the surface?

For those who don't understand why our society is heading in the direction it is, a few of the posts on here from so-called parents are great examples to give you a little more understanding. No personal responsibility any more, every thing can be blamed on something else.

Common sense tells me they are checked at most once a year. Anything that pops up after the check would not be found.

They are all going up because the associated risk in our area has increased. The state insurance commissioner's office said on average the increase has been about 10% and you can expect more if the stormy spring happens as projected.

Yup....every Sunday at my grandmothers which was normally attended by my aunts, uncles and cousins.

Two clauses to that law....it is not simply 'unlawful at any place'. The second element that needs to be fulfilled in the code for it to apply is it has to be in such numbers or a manner that it obstructs the entrance to the property of a business or it blocks access to the public roadways or tranportation. Picketing can and should be done without violating any of the above so I do not really see the problem. People do have the right assemble and picket but private business has the right to access their property and the public has the right to access the roadways and public transportatio

I would have really looked into a used "commuter" car. You can find great deals on 5 to 6 year old cars which still have many many reliable miles left in them at less that 1/3rd the new price. Keep the Tahoe for the family vehicle and have the one car just for her daily commute. Glad it worked out though. I really hate buying and selling cars.

I think she was asking trying to determine if it was a theft or a true robbery. The term "robbery" is widely misused because legally it describes a specific situation where property is taken by force directly from a person. It is considered a violent person crime and not a property crime. For example, an armed robbery occurs when the local gas station is hit at gun point, an unattended lawn mower stolen from the driveway overnight is a theft.

I would not classify it as "over his toes". Failing health is a huge source of depression for many people later in life.

Rather confusing......just put it to easy to understand terms. Lets say dad originally had $100k. He loaned out $25k to two of his four kids leaving $50k in the account. His estate is still worth $100k because he was owed $50k. The remaining $50k would be divided between the two children without loans and the previous loans to the other two cancels out their share.

Every 9-1-1 center I have had experience with issued BOLO's on every hit and run, intoxicated/reckless/traffic complaint, or on any call where a suspect leaves the scene. It is either broadcast over the radio or sent to the in car computer. LEO's get BOLOs all day long from stuff in their jurisdiction and the surrounding counties.

....and I personally know a couple of guys who have worked in one of those dedicated units you list and they are solving the same ones everyone else is, the ones where a victim/witness gets a tag number of someone who successfully flees the scene or when someone comes forward later with information identifying a suspect. They are not magically finding suspects when their only lead is a vague description such as "early 90's blue Toyota Camry".

I know people naively expect every crime can be solved no matter how small but something like this is nearly impossible without a tag number. There is no fancy CSI Miami technique to pull the tag number from nearby surveillance video or way to analyze paint transfer in some magic database so you can solve it in an hour minus commercials. It is not laziness it is reality.

Most people have no clue just how poor quality outside commercial video routinely is. No chance any of those businesses mentioned have video quality anywhere close to what is needed for a tag number. Most of the time at the big box stores you are doing good if you can get a color and model.

LOL....they took out a warrant because she stole jewelry from the home and pawned it "to ensure her daughter's safe return". So...in the end she got caught stealing from the family and fled to avoid the consiquences.

Many religious people are a little too full of themselves and their religion. The really assume everyone believes and interprets things the way they do because that is all they know. I know loads of people who don't look at marriage as any sort of religious event. I cannot even think of any wedding I have been to in years that mentioned anything religious in them. I guess you can add me to the list of not having a "legal" marriage because not one magical person in the sky had anything to do with it.

That makes no sense. It ends up being the same thing no matter what you call it. Just allow them to be married like any other couple using the same process the government has always used to formally recognize it. If the couple wants to go a step further and have a ceremony in a church witnessed by their chosen god then they are free to do so. Gays will do nothing to destroy the establishment we call marriage, heterosexuals are doing it them self since less than 1/2 can manage to stick it out any more.

Two points.... How come those who proclaim "don't force your beliefs on me" are always leading the way when it comes to forcing their beliefs on others? Freedom and equal protection under the law are fundamentals of this nation meaning the minority is protected from the majority. When you back an argument with "because the majority _____" it usually means you are wrong unless that topic at hand negatively oppresses anothers civil rights.
