Also, LE officers are justified in using deadly force to stop a fleeing criminal in certain situations depending on the crime that was committed along with other factors such as if the person is armed or a reasonable immediate danger to the community. You really cannot make a judgment on the location of the shots without knowing the dynamics of the encounter. Once he attempted to take the officers weapon to do him harm he provided the officer with justification to use deadly force to stop the threat. Going only by the odometer you will have traveled farther than indicated due to the larger wheel combo. Politicians.....any politician, would be crazy to come to a forum such as this to 'discuss' things. It allows people to anonymously get unsubstantiated stuff out there; throw mud 'till it sticks. You get questions such as "Isn't it true in the early 90's you cheated on your wife"?
