Flipping through stations this morning, I heard someone on 96.7 advertising for 96.1....thought that was weird. They must be working together instead of competing.

I am betting the next few houses he stopped at were even less willing to purchase from him if they could smell beer on his breath. I'm not fan of the door to door sales. Too many crazies out there and you never know if they could be posing as a salesman to get inside your house. I'm never rude, but I just try to avoid the situation in general if I can.

I assume she is. I think maybe she is buying time to find a new place for her children and herself. Not really sure. She is really my friend's friend so I have limited knowledge. I found a lot of information in the landlord/tenant handbook like someone suggested earlier and forwarded it to her.

I didn't see in that link, but does anyone know if a emailed letter is sufficiant or does the landlord have to have the tenant served?

That's what I thought....because don't verbal contracts hold up in court? (I watch too many court shows )

The tenant. Aparently there was an issue over fixing non working utilities and payment was withheld after so many weeks of it not being fixed. She offered to pay the repair person out of the rent and send him the rest since the land lord needed the rent to pay for the repair...and that didn't fly.

Someone I know moved in a house in a hurry....Lease was never presented or signed. Just a verbal agreement. What does it take for a Landlord to evict a tenant at will? Does it have to be a notorized document delivered/served to the tenant, or will a letter via email suffice? Magistrate court was only able to tell us what happens after the eviction process has started.

I used to have a member come in to the branch I worked at years ago and he was a detective. One day he came in, in a mood very much unlike his norm. He had just interigated a man who molested a young family member and the things the man said really wore on him that day. He must be friends with the dude in my neighborhood that has the old crappy mustang in his garage and likes to rev it for minutes on end. I couldn't figure out where is was coming from for a while. I thought it was the neighborhood behind us.....I happened to be walking the pups by his house while he was doing it on Monday.....Good Lord.

1. people who complain about situations but refuse to do anything to correct them. 2. when my neighbor watches me walk my dogs to ensure that I don't let them use her yard even though they have never done so. She will litterally come out side, stare at me and go back in when I pass. It's bizaar. 3. when people say "mmmhmmm.....mmmhmmm" or "yes" WHILE i'm talking.....You can't hear what I'm saying if you're talking too. These aren't my only ones....but they at the top of my list today.

If I didn't eat or shop at places that had different beliefs from mine, I'd never eat or shop anywhere. The beautiful thing about our country is we are all allowed to have different beliefs. I for one support gay marriage, and will continue to eat chick fil....now if he starts refusing to serve people based on their sexuality.....then I'd stop eating there. But Mr. Cathy seems like a good man who respects the fact that we do not all share the same faiths and beliefs.

He is the only one I've dealt with in family matters, but I have heard horror stories from friends and coworkers about less than compassionate treatment from their funeral directors.

Sam Clark gets my vote. He is who we dealt with during my brother and his girlfriends death. Very professional, compassionate, and never once made us feel like he did this for the pay check. It was all about us and how he could help put us at ease.

I think so. I took my little one to the UC this weekend with fever, and just before we got there he started getting the chills. Once the Dr. looked at his throat, he stepped back and said "whoa!" My poor boy's throat was so swollen an had pus pockets on the back. They didn't bother testing him for strep since it wasn't going to change how they treated him. They ended up giving him a Steroid shot and some antibiotics. I can't belive he never even mentioned his throat hurt. Two days later, my throat is slightly sore and I'm starting to get the chills and aches. early bed time for me!

I have used Publix in New Hope for years. There have been a couple of times I had to take my children to the ER or Urgent Care so I HAD to use the CVS because it was open late at night. They have charged me for antibiotics that I would normally get for free at Publix, or if it was one that I did have to pay for, they charged me significantly more than Publix would have. I've only ever had one problem with Publix Pharm....there were two new girls fresh out of school who were so rude to me that I felt the need to write the Head office. (which I never do.)....I've never seen those girls ag

There is a theater that I heard about accross from the east cobb avenues.....They're $1 and it's newer movies that were recently in theaters.

I had it when I was 16. I missed a week of school and remember being MISERABLE during, but do not recall any after effects. I hope she feels better soon!

Well....my dad just found out that his landlord hasn't paid the mortgage with the rent he's been sending, and has until July 1st to be out of his house. Anyone know of any 3+BR/2+B rentals in the North Paulding School District with a rent of $1500 or less? He doesn't want to purchase right now because he doesn't know if he will need to move in the future with his job and doesn't want to be tied to a mortgage if that happens. He's a non smoker and has no pets. Any info would be greatly appreciated. I will forward it his way. Thanks in advance!

I have several child molesters near my address.....one of which (who lives on the road behind my house) apparently is "a sexually dangerous predator" and wears an ankle monitor 16 years after his conviction date. His page was the only one that said anything like that thank.....it took me back a little bit. More so than there being so many child molesters less than one mile from my house I did see six at one address....I googled the address and it is the probation center on industrial blvd...? Does that mean they don't have an address to register?
