There is a lot in my neighborhood that was never built on....it's over grown with weeds and whatnot that is now spilling over into the street (I'd say about six inches or so into the street so far) . being that it is around a curve, this can become a hazard very soon. Who do I call? Do I find out who the owner is and request they come tend to the lot? or does the city of dallas do that? Or the county?....

sara babb park has a public pool..... pack a pic nic lunch and go to the park..... just relax around the house! it's too hot outside to be walking around while 7 months prego. lol.

last month mine was 95.00, this month it was 144.00 I've slacked off guarding the thermostat. lol I use the programed setting and keep my house at 78 during the day...and if it's too hot when I get home, I'll kick it down to 74 for a couple hours....but I usually just try to tolerate it and use floor fans.

my sis used to live in this super cute little house right off of merchants drive...in walking distance to a lot of things, but she had to move....it was getting bad. These two women (individually) started coming to her door all the time and asking for money for random things. It was always something different (my daughters in the hospital, I need to feed my kids, my car broke down, etc)...I think they forgot they have already asked her 100 times and that's why they kept coming. But they looked like junkies....and there were several people walking up and down the street all day every day....and

that was last years I think. Wait. I thought the first day of school was August 1st? Ok, I just looked at the calendar again...I'm glad you said that, I still thought it was the first of the month....I had taken the day off......that would have stunk.

Who our childs teacher is and what we need to bring as far as supplies? Is open house usually before or after the first day of school?

We're going to explore that again, Once I find a psychiatrist.. We have talked about it before with two Dr's because we found out a couple of years ago that my husband has a young brother with Aspergers (among other things). But neither of the Dr's believed that's what he had.

I'm trying. Thank you for that though....it does make me feel better. the only experience I have with that place is Substance Abuse. My mom and ex step mom have both been admitted several times and when I've gone to visit and try to show them support, Looking around Cottage C honestly scared me. And my mom's Dr. is based out of there, and I think he just tells my mom what she wants to here (she's kinda crazy)....another story for another time I guess. Anyway....based off of my prior experience there....when I saw ridgeview, my heart sank a little.

Dr. Ashraf Attalla. My son's Pediatrician has referred us to this dr. (ADHD/ODD) after several medications that have not worked for him. I just looked him up and he's located at Ridgeview Institute but I don't see anything on the internet that says he specializes in children (kinda freaks me out, and the last Dr. this office referred me to was a quack and made me uncomfortable). I'm about to call back and ask if there are any other Dr's that deal with children only, but before I did that I thought I'd reach out to you guys for any feed back. your feed back is greatly appreciated P

Oh you know what....I'm thinking about when you purchase a car from out of state from a dealer ignore me....it's been a long week and my brain isn't working. lol

I'm not sure if it's new, but I'm pretty sure you have to pay the taxes on it when you switch the title into your name. Call tag office to double check. I'd just hate for you to spend $6k on a car from an individual instead of a dealer and get hit with a suprise additional cost of $400.

i didn't read the whole thread, but if you are buying these from an individual, just remember that you will have to pay the taxes when you register the car in your name. Some people don't realize that until they get to the counter.

There is a registry online so you can make sure your derby name isn't the same as someone elses....I thought that was neat. I keep saying I'm going to go one of these days, but haven't yet.

I have never heard of you submitting your own payment history....Each of the three bureaus have a 1800 number, I would suggest calling each one and asking the protocol. They should be familiar with this if this is something you can do.

Sounds scary! I don't like not having control over anything involving myself....not having control of your entire body.....ugh!
