I signed a contract last month that stated I had until 10/18/11 to cancel and recieve a refund of what I have already paid. So I canceled on 10/17/11, in person, in writing, directly to the manager. I didn't read all of the responses, so this may have already been said....but 1. a car is a car, they'll be happy to have almost anything. 2. You're the mom, and you're the one paying. If he doesn't like it, he doesn't drive it. I'm assuming you'll be paying for the gas too....so if you don't want to pay for a vehicle that gets 15 miles a gallon, you don't have to. 3. this will give him a goal to work up to. If he's dying to have a big truck, he'll work to save for it. It's good for kids to have goals. What about a S-10? it's still a truck and better on gas (I think)

I KNEW Shane was going to do that. As soon as he came back without Otis I told hubby " I bet he shot Otis so he could get away." At least he "looks" torn up about it. what kills me is we started potty training MONTHS ago. I spent all weekend working on it with him and by Sunday he was doing amazing....Monday comes and I take him into daycare (we no longer go there) and I tell his teacher "He's potty training, and doing great" and she says...."Well...I have 8 toddlers, I don't have time to take him to the potty every 20 minutes (i didn't ask that of her by the way). Ok, so my youngest son has just turned three and we've taken his pull ups away. He does great at school when the entire class goes to "potty time" He's only had one accident there (yesterday he actually ASKED twice to go to the potty! YAY!). But at home....oh boy. I can't get him close to the toilet or training potty. It's like he doesn't want to stop playing or something. He'll actually request a pull up. We say "No. Pull ups are for bed time only. When I can't give or feel like I'm getting scammed....I give out a United Way card telling them to call 211 for help. It is helpful info to those who need it, and weeds out the people who don't. no, now it's $1.90 on the first checking....if you have multiple checking accounts under the same member number, you only get charged once. Money Markets don't count as checking accounts though....there is no fee for those.
