Wow...that's a huge difference!!

well....crap. that really stinks.

I have to submit my time off for the entire year Jan. 1st every year, but that is so hard to do when I don't know my kid's schedules. I can't remember when it was released last year, does anyone know when the new one will be out?

Thank you so much! This is big help. Villa Rica sounds like a good deal, but I live in New Hope and will have another son playing baseball at New hope at the same time that this one will be in soccer. I'll just have to pay the extra :/....he better like it. lol.

So 5 year old decided he wants to play soccer instead of baseball. I know nothing about the sport or sign ups. Is all soccer around here through Upward? I have seen a lot of people mention kids playing through the churches. Is that who you sign up with to play on the Samual Braly field in New Hope? Anyone know when sign ups usually start and about how much I can expect to pay for registration and uniform?

My mom has been on disability for quite some time, but has recently had a procedure done to her back to help ease her pain....we have found she can work up to 10 hours a week (I believe) without losing her benefits. My sister and brother in law are putting their 13 year old in a military school for boys in Gwinnett this year. They have been researching for a year and they decided on this one. (i can find out the name if you're intersted) but they said they had great reward program for the boys that succeed (baseball team, fun days, etc) and there are lots of reviews from previous students that praise the program and say it changed their lives. I know at age 14 a child can decide what parent they chose to live with. What if the child is 17 and you suspect illegal activity going on in the house that the minor is living in? I say suspect because several people have mentioned something, but there is no hard evidence available to the other parent The parent with current custody would not be cooperative at all. I think they are more concerned with being the child's friend and wouldn't doubt if they had full knowledge of the suspected illegal activity going on in their house. What can be done? what route would the parent go to

If you have the money to pay for your child's funeral, as i am sure Clark Howard does...that would be reasonable. But for those that don't, I think life insureance is smart. I pay something small like $.40 a week off my pay check for my kids. It's just enough to pay for a funeral and maybe a couple of weeks of missed work if needed. Nothing to buy a boat or brand new car with or anything. My brother died in 2007 and my dad didn't have a spare $7k sitting around. The only thing that saved him was the driver's insurance gave him a wrongful death settlement and that covered the funeral.

With a bit of work and updating, this would have made an excellent wedding venue.

If you are planning on going to white water more than once, or even white water once plus six flags once, the passes are worth it. This year they started a "Membership." you pay a few dollars per month per person and can go unlimited. I chose to do this so I didn't have to shell out $260 all at once. and not feel comfortable spending any money while we were there. The only think is you HAVE to pay it for 12 months, after that first 12 months you can cancel at any time. I agree that charging them with murder doesn't seem right because topper OD'd on his own, but they are still disgusting people who still deserve some punishment and should be ashamed of their actions but seem to have no remorse for dumping a person behind a dumpster instead of seeking aid. That girls mom should be in jail for whatever they can charge her with as well.

The only "local" store I know of is in Marietta. I forget the name but its in the plaza by Dave poes BBQ. only other suggestion I have is to visit the flea markets. I have passed a person or two getting rod of some..nothing high dollar or on collectable shape, but would suit your purpose.

My kiddos use Discovery Point in EP next to publix and I love it. I used to use an in home day care but that didn't work out. It's hard to rely on a single person sometimes. it just didn't work for me, i know of several people that it did work out for just fine though. I then went to an old day care that my brother and sister used years before beacuse they were familiar with my family, but that didn't work out when my oldest was grew older...wont state why here, but it just didn't work out. Yes, take your buyers order to the DMV, they will calculate how much tax you paid vs. The new tax/fee....if the amt originally paid is higher you sign a paper and you're done. If you paid less than the new amount will be then they will give you the option of paying the difference or leaving as is.

Look for a refurbished one at Game Stop. I bought my son a Nintendo DS for christmas there three years ago for $50 less than the retail of a brand new one...ne never knew the difference. Or Anything Joes if they are still open....

Discovery Point has a good summer camp program. They do three field trips a week and themed days, tons of activities. and I think it's $130 a week, including the field trips.

She was on the voice one or two seasons back. I think she was on team ceelo and I was so mad when he chose to save another contestant over her....the other contestant wasn't half as good as this girl.
