  1. I haven't seen the man at New GA Publix in quite a few weeks. My daughter said a lady was there (in the Publix parking lot) when she went to church Sunday morning but, when I went to church (11 am service) I saw no one. When I went to Publix a little bit ago, they already had the Sunday papers out but, NO double packs, I asjed customer service and the lady said they may have them in the morning, depending on the weather. Boy, I sure do miss them being on the street corner.

  10. Wellstar Hospital now has credit card type of a deal, where if you have to go to the ER or Outpatient surgery and you owe them money, they will put it on the credit card type thing and you have to make payments on it. My daughter had to have her gall bladder taken out last year and this is what they did to her. Her insurance only paid 80% and her 20% was put on the card.

  14. So much $$ went to the "cause", if I am not mistaken. We won't be renewing hubby's wildlife tag, for sure. The state/county will end up loosing money, and they will be trying to make up for the difference somehow.
  15. Thanks Postman, it is real challenging finding a good dr, that is really and truly concerned about ones health and not just making a buck, these days. I sat in the dr's office one time, crying with a burning pain from a pinched nerve, that affected the sciatic nerve, sacroiliac joints (nerve blockers & si cortizone injections didn't work) and it went through my hip, down the outside of my thigh and down the leg and all I could do was just rub it and cry, the dr said sorry, we can't help you. I tried to tell him that darvon, darvocet, percocet, tylenol 3, vicodin and the likes keeps me awak
  16. The comment above, in between the stars, is HOGWASH!!!!! You give any kind of sugar to my grandchildren after about 6 pm and get them to go to sleep at a decent hour is impossible! Typically, I am real cold natured and when the temps are in the 20's, I am in my house, with the heat on 74 with 2 pair of sweats (top & bottom), 2 pairs of socks and with my thick scarf on my head, trying to stay warm. When my head/feet gets warm, I'm ok.

  19. Most do but, there ARE some wacko's out there!!!! I know this is NOT exactly what you are talking about but, I'll throw this out there anyway. I was not happy with my gastroenterologist so, I found a new gastro dr, last year. He ordered every test you could imagine. When it came time to do the lactose intolerence test, a different nurse had to do it and she was NOT professional, at all. Looked like she came from the hills of Kentucky. As a matter of fact, the entire office wasn't professionally dressed, either. The office staff wore blue jeans and t shirts/regular shirts. It was a Dr,
