  1. I have never heard of this type of dirt before much less, it having a positive effect (right word??) on someones arthritis??? Enlighten me on this subject please. Inquiring minds want to know. tia I guess I'm needing a little Science lesson here...........
  2. Last year it was at Stone Mountain and it was nice there, also. The park was NOT closed to the general public, though. They did have a lot of big tv's and such to give away but, they were also handing out 1099's for the items over $599 in value. Six Flags was nice and when the Annual Picnic was there a few years ago, we didn't go to that one. I believe that was the year that I sprained my ankle. I just couldn't walk the walk. I have problems with my feet and I just couldn't bare the pain any longer. It would have been better IF it had been about 15 degrees cooleer but, we still had a g
  3. We weren't notified of this event either. We called the shop where hubby retired from and asked some friends/former coworkers about it. Sorry you missed it. I meant to post abut this last week but, I have been very busy.
  4. We only go to the picnic's for the prizes and food. I was "really" disappointed that there were'nt going to be any prize drawings. Yes, the chicken was too dry. We have had our fun at Six Flags, years ago. The only thing we rode was the train,
  5. I wonder if this is the same elderly lady that used the same scheme last year and went to Buddys and bought lottery tickets. Just saying...........
  6. Rest In Peace Bill, we will miss you very much and Helping Hands won't be the same without you!! My Thoughts and Prayers wil be with the Family
  7. Hubby already called the ph # posted above and they said it would cost $250 an hour. They do not charge for travel time. If we can get so many people to sign up then we could split the cost equally, that'd be great!!!!! Soooo, if anyone wants to start a sign up sheet, we'll put our name on the list.
  8. Ga Cancer Center in Douglasville, uses Cintas for their shredding, also. If I could "remember" to call them and ask about their pricing and services, I would.
  9. I will support the LOCAL company as long as he is in business!!!!! Paulding Waste Disposal has been good to us for years, never had a problem and a few years ago when the gas went up, the garbage co raised their prices (rightfully so) and when the gas prices went down, they lowered their price back to the normal fee.
  10. Keep me posted on how it's going. My daughters may be interested in this. tia
  11. I sure hope she is not in the hospital on her Birthday, which is next week.... If she IS still there, I'll just go see her!!!!!!!!!! Get Well Ms Jessie You will be in my thoughts and prayers.

  13. We have a lot of Time magazines and need to get rid of them. I know I could take them ti our dr's offices but, most of them have plenty of magazines already.
  14. And we have GreyStone Security and I don't care who you are.................IF you come in my house and you were NOT invited..... you WILL BE SHOT!! You know the routine, shoot first ask questions later!!!
  15. I got an estimate for blown insulation for our rental house and the quote was $800, so this (Radiant Barrier Foil) will be cheaper???? It's actually for blown 5" over the "old" carport (336 sf) and 8" blown over the main house (1,056 sf). This will bring the insulation up to code ......R30 @ 10 1/4". We'd like to get a quote, also.
  16. We headed out to go walking and got to the cemetary in New Ga and the bottom fell out as we were going south on Hwy 61, got back to our house and it was NOT raining. I can't walk up the hill in our s/d. I'd be ok IF the hill was on the beginning and not the tail end of the walk. Oh well, my feet really wasn't up to a walk, anyway.

A couple of years ago I had to take b12 shots everyday for 7 days and then once a month, for a year. Hubby was a good shot giver. I'm too chicken to do it myself!!!!! I felt no difference!!!!!
  18. Not sure but, try legalzoom.com or nolo.com, it's worth a try.
  19. What religion, I wonder? I know it's NOT Baptist, Methodist, Presbyterian or Holiness!!!!!
  20. She WAS found........................ not sure of her condition though.
  21. Hubby has been listening to the scanner about a lady that has been lost in the woods, most of the evening. The DNR is out helping the PCSO, they found her and have her in a 4 wd DNR truck and taking her to meet an ambulance, maybe?????? This is somewhere around the PC Shooting Range. It's unclear ~if~ anyone was with her or not. What happened to the scanner listeners????? lol
  22. Way to go, to the neighbor that busted in the door and tried to rescue the lady AND PCFD!!!!!!!!!!
  23. Zillow has our rental house listed as 3 lots down the street, from where it actually is, it's about 2 or 3 10ths of a mile off base, which is a junked up yard, when we had it appraised back in April it was like $59,900 and I'm sure that junky house/yard had ~someting~ to do with it being appraised at $59k.
  24. Our rental house was appraised in the month of April and I checked it out on Zillow and it said THE ZESTIMATE WAS ABOUT 10k more than what it really is but, it does have a junked up yard as a neighbor, that has devalued our rental property.
