  1. Nahhhhh, it was just a "Winn-Dixie" but, never associated with WalMart Markets.
  2. Snellville gets first Georgia, Walmart "Market", grocery store ONLY. My link The Snellville City Council voted this week to alter zoning to allow construction of the first Walmart Neighborhood Market store in Georgia, reports the Gwinnett Daily Post.
  3. Couldn't have said it better, myself. Prayers for all involved.
  4. Westside is bad, also or it used to be anyway.
  5. Honestly......................if you can't see the Sun, you need your headlights, NOT just your accessory/parking lights!!! I see plenty of people who just refuse to turn their headlights on. They have this "I can see just fine" mentality and NOT caring about the other drivers. What IF I can't see you and pull out in front of you, whose fault wold that be???
  6. Kudos to YOU!!!! You didn't have to come on here and post for all of pcom land to see but, you did. You could have just kept it all to yourself and no one would have ever known the difference. Yes, the best of children do stupid things sometimes, just like everyone else, they are not bullet proof, invinceable and certainly NOT PERFECT! Glad to hear your child is safe and no one was injured during his actions in whatever it was that he had done. Every now and then, we all need a "reality check" and glad it turned out OK for you and yours. Prayers for all. That's what GOOD PARENTS do, watch ou
  7. You didn't, it was one of those things I typed before thinking about it.
  8. Duuuhhhhhh, when you have had as many things done as I have had, you'd forget too. I guess I was thinking of the epidurals and the nerve blocks. Thanks
  9. I've had it done one time and it didn't help at all. This was back in 1995. I hope things are better now a days.
  10. Helping Hands is getting their parking lot paved today and tomorrow and will be closed. I am so excited. Walking on rocks and gravel is hard on my feet and ankles. I have weak ankles and when I walk on the rocks/gravel, it's real easy to turn/sprain my ankle. Pass on the word, if you know of anyone who was coming to the food bank on either of these days. Mrs G
  11. It IS indeed a GOOD DAY, Helping Hands is getting their parking lot paved today and tomorrow.
  12. Now, that's an awesome idea. Seeings how I have some extra peanut butter and I have 3 "partial" jars of peanut butter geeeeee, I wonder how that happened???
  13. You would really like Dr Laur, he is very nice, he has done 2 surgeries on my left foot and I think a lot of pcommers would recommend him as well. He has removed a Morton's Neuroma from my left foot, between the 2nd and 3rd toes and then 4 months ago he removed a bunion and a heel spur. I have suffered with Plantar Fasciitis and Heel Spurs probably for about 15 yrs, off and on. I can't stand on my feet for more than about 15 at a time. But, this surgery has not been the best experience and physical therapy is helping to get me back on track. I know it will take a while but, dang it, I'm ready
  14. We've been watching for a few days, maybe. I love to watch this!!
  15. Foot Solutions (one in Douglasville & one in Kennesaw) may be able to tell you who and where, can do this kind of work. That is, if your Podiatrist can't tell you. My experience with these "molded orthotics", it didn't help!!! The vonev you buy in the store is just as good. AT Foot Solutions, they put you on this machine (now in WalMart stores) and tell you where the pressure points are and they fit you with an insert at that time. Using the machine is free but, the recommended inserts are $50 (approx, per Villa Rica WalMart Pharmacy Tech) Dr Laur is AWESOME................. Vi
  16. How do you get around the "privacy policy" issues?? I'm interested but, not sure at what capacity. When you have time, just give me a call, pls Mam.
  17. I often think about this myself. Whenever I hear of a fire and see how the occupants had lost everything, it makes me wonder "IF" they had Renters Insurance. Yes, It's only about the cost of a cup of coffee or soda per day. Good post, NC. Thanks for bringing this up.
  18. I remember seeing that coupon but, I don't know when it was. I don't buy that kind stuff and probably took it to Helping Hands. I'll look through my coupons again.
  19. PcsCharlie, About how many children do you give these bags of goodies to? Is this ONLY for one particular school? Dallas Elementary has a lot of indigent children, with the low income apartments in town and nearby.
  20. We were out and about yesterday, had things to do and look what we came across. I'm so glad to know that the Bakery is doing well in Paulding Co. Their cupcakes and cakes are DELICIOUS. We have tried them a couple times. WOOO HOOO Way to go BBB
