Lats week I carved a caricature of Obama in a pumpkin. Sure enough it started to mold and the face started to collapse. It's now ruined. Should have known.

Depends if you do it on an open fire or gas grill. It's hard to put the skewers on each one but after you do just turn them occasionally. Best to bast with Jack Daniels............OK forget the basting and just drink the Jack.

Good one. How about the sheriff has some nice bars if you are not nice.

Too bad for the Dallas City Cemetery
Dallas Bigfoot replied to nicholascolephotographer's topic in RECENT TOPICS
Don't ya'll realize that the Dallas city council members want to keep Dallas the way it was before the great war? That means streets should be dirt and all should drive covered wagons. Hate to say it but a lot of "oldies" in Paulding feel the same way. Example was when the non binding vote for the airport and the reservoir they voted against the airport. Of course King Shearen(sp) didn't help. If the economy hadn't tanked the airport would have made money by bringing in small businesses or industry. When you have that your property taxes go down. David Austin inherited a mess but has the fores -
Several years ago before gas got high my neighbor asked if he could borrow enough gas to finish cutting his grass so he wouldn't have to stop. He said he would give me some in return the next day. Needless to say he filled up his lawn mower and not just a little to finish. That was three years ago. He also did it last year to another neighbor. He had the nerve to ask me the other day for a "little" gas to finish his yard and he would return it the next day. I said sure but I need a $20 deposit. He said I sure was stingy and I told him he had a lot of nerve to even ask. I also told him about hi

Question came up with several people about those that have gold fillings in their teeth. If they pass away do you have the funeral home remove the fillings because of the high price for gold? Or does the funeral home take the gold fillings and keep them for themselves. Now that would not only be unethical it would be stealing and also desecrating a dead person which is jail time. What would you do? The person who first asked the question said his brother wanted to borrow money and he told him to go pull out the half dozen gold fillings he had. Now that's harsh but it makes sense.

Chicago when they first started out, Neil Diamond, Charlie Daniels, Tim McGraw and Faith Hill, Simon and Garfunkle. Tell my age but went to a concert with Maurice Williams and the Zodiacs and also had the Drifters. I sang the “The Pony” with the Drifters. At least that’s what I was told the next day.

Pickett's Mill is open Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Opens at 9. They are always looking for volunteers to help. They had a volunteer day Sept. 26th and no one showed up because of light rain. The support organization, Friends of Civil War Paulding County, was there and worked until the rain got heavy. There is only one ranger there now but previous employees and support group members help out. Red Top Mountain park does maintenance like cut grass and heavy things but taking your group and volunteering would be a big help and really appreciated. James Wooten is the contact at Pickett's Mill.

A guy stopped at a farm and saw a three legged pig. He asked what happen. The farmer said the pig woke us up one night when the house was on fire. The guy asked "But why does he have three legs?" The farmer told of how the tractor turned over on him and the pig dug him out saving his life. The guy asked again "But why does he have only three legs?" The farmer answered "A pig is smart and we ain't going to eat him all at once."

If you need a new vehicle and have good credit you can buy it with no interest for up to 5 years. Use other people's (car dealer) money. We did that twice. That way our money makes money for us in a interest yield checking account. Savings accounts and CD's don't pay much interest right now. Put your money in mutual funds. Stock market doing better but it's a roller coaster so you have to be in it for the long haul. Too bad my kids don't repay loans with interest. Can I write off no pay backs as a bad loan on taxes?

We have a savings account for rainy days or better put for emergencies like car repairs/tires and possible appliance repairs. Also for Christmas. Our checking pays interest and always try to keep a good balance. We started paying cash for purchases last year but still have a couple of credit cards for emergencies we can't pay for with cash on hand. Dave Ramsey has some good ideas but when you pay off everything and can't save thousands it's hard to buy a car because you have no credit record. Save at least 10% after taxes but don't forget church/charities.

Maybe the spirit of your Mom is holding it up and she's trying to tell you to either sweep your house clean and sweep out all the bad thoughts. LOL -
4.4 Million-Year-Old Female Skeleton Nicknamed "Ardi"
Dallas Bigfoot replied to Eddie Bennett's topic in RECENT TOPICS
And some of the ones that evolved from Ardi are among us now. Just look and Ardi and look at your neighbors. -
Answer this. How can the BOD get cell phones and have the HOA pay for it so the BOD can "stay in touch" and "not call me at my home phone". Being on a HOA means volunteering your time including getting calls on your home phone. One past president got a call at 10 PM (before cell phones) and told the person he wasn't getting paid and hung up. Real volunteer? Did you know if you are one of the original homeowners in Saddlebrooke (phase 1 and 2) you don't have to belong to the HOA? If, when you closed, there was no few for HOA shown it exempts you because it wasn't mandatory. The sixth amend

Consider who is on the board. Birds of a feather.................... The next time I get hit unreasonably I will follow through with my attorney. He said I have a good case but to try and get along but don't be bullied. My across the street neighbor has a big file from people in the sub.

Several people in our subdivision have been fined for violating the covenants. The idiots paid. There are so many violations in our subdivision that I can't see how the BOD have the nerve to fine someone. First they send out a notice by certified mail. Guess what happens when you get a certified letter? You get pi$$$$$d. They don't have the nerve or guts to talk to a person and ask them to comply. I went through the subdivision yesterday and counted 16 violations. Yes, I said 16 of which two BOD were in violation. Our ACC chairman is a freaken idiot. He told me and my neighbor last year we nee
