Salt system is the way to go. Cost a little more up front but in the long run it is cheaper. Years ago at another residence we had a chlorine system and the chemicals were more expensive and we had to take a shower and wash bathing suits because of the chlorine. As long as you check the water on a salt system as recommended you won’t have any problems and will save money. We've had ours since July '06 and wouldn't have any other system.
