Out of over 3,500 voters in one precinct less than 100 showed up. What’s wrong with you people? I bet a lot of you are conservative “tea partyites” so why didn’t you vote. School board smart for not panicking and closing schools. In the past the local news media put fear in the state that we would have a blizzard and only got a dusting. They go for sensationalism. That way you keep watching. This morning one station showed Paulding would get 1 to 2 inches. Another showed we would get 2 to 3 inches and yet another showed we would get only a dusting to 1 inch. After in snows go out and measure so next time you will know which station to believe. I don't think any of them have a clue. They just take the NOAA release and spin it. Local news station this AM said the snow will be south of Atlanta and not north of ATL. Can't they at least try to work with NOAA? AJC as well as TV news programs look for the excitement. Have you noticed all the earthquakes happening around the world lately? Must be some prelude to a worse disaster. The Pacific ream has had quakes around the horseshoe of prior volcanoes. When they have a quake in Missouri or Yellowstone that's when to worry. Also could be start of pending doom in 2012 that the Mayans' foresaw. Other than that stay warm and have a nice day.

Tragedy upon tragedy. Just when there seemed to get help and have hope they are slammed again. People that were still alive but buried are probably gone by now. Just pray they find some still alive and aid can get to those that survived. Can not imagine horror of loosing family members and not knowing where they were buried because of mass graves due to possible diseases.
