If you had your AC repaired during regular work days (Mon. - Fri) and the AC worked fine when the tech left but the next morning it didn't work and you had to call them on a Sat. or Sun. for a do over are you obligated to pay for another service charge? What about paying for additional parts to fix? Say all it took the first visit was some wiring repairs and then on the do over visit it was a relay replacement should not they subtract the fee for wiring repairs labor from the bill? I really think there should be no charge for the screw up but....

Most TV channels from ABC, NBC, CNN and Fox are letting ATL school cheating get a lot of publicity. Really shows how bad the ATL schools are doing to educate children for the future. The state should fire all the ATL school board and start over with watch dogs for the next ten years. All those that got awards or bonuses should be made to return them. Did you get the feeling that the announcers wanted Japan to win? Bias? They ran a special about the disaster in Japan and you know people were thinking since they suffered so much they should win. I wasn't happy with the refereeing throughout the games. Obvious hand ball in the box and no call. Obvious trips and no calls. Obvious out of bounds and even some still in bounds and called wrong (ball has to be completely over line to be out). In the J-USA game there was a clear corner kick for the US and the ref called a goal kick. Overall the US had the best team but just couldn't finish..........

The USA women's soccer team played Brazil in a tough match and won in spite of a bad ref. Even the commentators said the ref lost control of the game and made bad calls. They played to a tie in regulation time and then in overtime Brazil scored. In the final minutes and in extended time the USA team scored forcing a shoot out. The USA team won the shoot out and will play France next week in the semi-finals and the winner goes to the finals. Japan and Sweden also play next week to see who goes to the finals.

I went with a friend that lives up the road from me to buy fireworks in Alabama. We stopped at the first exit selling fireworks and their must have been 100 cars in the lot. I noticed 90% were from Georgia. Even saw a fellow PC resident and a friend from Douglasville. When is our state going to change the law because everyone knows that people have been firing aerials for years. Here's a chance to raise revenue by placing a 10% tax on aerial fireworks. And watch out for the bargin/low cost tree services. I am having a big oak tree taken down that is dieing. They want me to remove 4 sections of my fence, move three crepe myrtles, move landscape timbers and remove about 20 feet of my paver walkway and then they have the nerve to want to charge me $900. They want to let in fall, cut it up in 20 inch pieces and then take the timber to sell it as firewood. I asked if they had liability insurance and they said they would get one..........................NOT!

I was walking at White oak Park and down the walking path was yellow "Do Not Cross - Crime Scene" tape. What is going on? Did someone get attached? If you have chipmunks at least you will know you don't have big snakes or they would eat them. Maybe you can find someone to loan you a snake. I heard mothballs poured down their dug out holes drive them a way. I tried it but it didn't work. I have a couple in my yard that I want gone. My dogs get exercise chasing them but will never catch them. Can't put out poison peanuts because of the dogs. Would pop them with 22 but can't shoot in subdivision. Maybe I could put out one of those round pet exercise wheels with peanuts and the chipmunk will get inside and run itself to death.

They switched from Styrofoam to cardboard because Styrofoam is not degradable. The liberal nuts raised stink years ago about fast food places not being environmentally friendly.Best thing to do is not eat it. It's kind of like using real crystal which has lead in it. I drove my wife up to the outlets in Calhoun this morning and decided to come back on hwy 41 because they are having the Dixie hwy yard sale, I have never seen so many yard sales and people out looking for a bargin. It starts at the Tenn line and goes to Marietta and last all weekend. For those looking for good buys and are yard sale fanatics this is it.
