I'm very proud of Comcast for offering this deal as I think it is important for all kids to have internet access. More info here: http://www.internetessentials.com/

The Zino is perfect for this application and I have looked at them myself. I am currently using a cobbled together regular tower and it works fine since it is only used for video and Magic Jack. It's just really big when compared with the Zino. I do not think you will be sorry with the Roku in the bedroom as long as you can live with the content limitations when compared with the content offered with a computer. For my family, probably 95% of internet content is viewed via the Roku with the other 5% allotted to the computer. Also, there are certain members of my family that think using the com

My recommendation would be the Roku player mentioned above. It is less complicated to setup than most computers for tv viewing. I have both a Roku and a computer connected to the tv but only use the computer when something is not available via the Roku.

I have been dreading this day, but pretty much knew it was coming when Steve went on another medical leave earlier this year. I read earlier today that people who have pancreatic cancer and have a liver transplant, typically only live about 2 years after the transplant. He is past the 2 year mark. I'm concerned about this for several reasons: 1. The way Apple has been operated under Steve's leadership has resulted in a business that IS Steve Jobs. He is the visionary for the company and micromanages every aspect of the business and product development. I'm not sure that there is anyone

I'm suspicious of his wife of 69 years. She may have grown tired of him and was worried about how she would come out financially in a divorce. Gilligan's Island was my favorite shows as a kid. RIP Mr. Schwartz

Who's fault would this be? Doctor/Chiro Office situation...

Based on the way that lawyers normally handle cases like this, my guess is that they will go after the Doc and the manufacturer of the equipment. -

I have never had the opportunity to read a malpractice policy, but my initial thought is that this event should be covered under a liability policy instead. The accident was unrelated to medical treatment of the child and more akin to unsafe design of equipment. Most equipment used in business settings have guarded switches or lockout features to prevent inadvertent operation. I'm thinking liability insurance because this would seem to fit in the same category as someone tripping over uneven flooring or getting injured by a light fixture that was improperly installed and fell. I suppose that a -
One thing that I have done is the past is ship my belongings UPS or FedEx and then travel with a carry on bag. Saves time at the baggage claim and the burden of lugging it around.

Probably a good idea to check out Clark Howard's Identity Theft Guide for tips. http://www.clarkhowa...eft-guide/nFbr/

All about what they negotiate with the production companies. Just be patient. Eventually DVD's (and other hard copy media) will become as extinct as the 8-Track when everything is online. We have a ways to go since there a so many that do not have access to high speed internet.

No objections from me as long as waste treatment facilities can handle it. From a financial standpoint, $150K sounds a little expensive for a human sized pressure cooker. May the discount operators will use smaller equipment and offer a "you slice-we liquify" deal.

I'm glad you were able to take advantage of this. Save some money plus get a battery that is safe to use.

Excellent idea and excellent post. We have more than enough folks out of work that need a job.

The recall pertains to HP and Compaq. If recall applies to you, you get a new free battery. http://www.cpsc.gov/...ml11/11234.html

You can try Malwarebytes, Spybot and SuperAntiSpyware. All available for free at ninite.com You can also do a free online scan for free here: http://www.eset.com/us/online-scanner If none of that works, take it to one of the pro's mentioned above. Once it goes the pro my normal preference is to backup your data, format the drive, reinstall Windows, install all updates, reinstall your programs and then restore your personal data. This is the ONLY solution to 100% guarantee that the machine is no longer infected and every real security expert in the world will tell you the same. Good

Give this a shot. (Note: The program needs to be installed and used on a machine that has Windows XP): http://download.cnet.com/PC-Inspector-Smart-Recovery/3000-2242_4-10066144.html

For the Mac users, I think now is the time to start being concerned about malicious software. I'm not an alarmist and up until now, I've never been a proponent of installing antivirus software on a Mac.However, based on the article below, my philosophy has now changed. (I knew that security would become a issue eventually with the rise in popularity of Apple computers but I did not think it would be this soon). Read more here: http://www.zdnet.com...osoft+Report%29

Super Deluxe! Nothing wrong with IE. If you like it - stick with it. However, you can install other browsers such as Chrome and Firefox to play with. Installing either or both will not affect IE as you can still use it as well.

I'm sorry you are having trouble with this. It sounds like you may have some other problem that is preventing the rollback to the previous version of IE. Perform the steps listed below that I linked to in my first post and let me know which step is causing the problem. Click the Start button , type Programs and Features in the search box, and then click View installed updates in the left pane. Under Uninstall an update, scroll down to the Microsoft Windows section. Right-click Windows Internet Explorer 9, click Uninstall, and then, when prompted, click Yes. Click one o

FAQ's from tech writer Ed Bott that should prove helpful. You should keep in mind that there are a number of browser add-ons that will not work at this point because IE9 is to new. This is the reason that I usually recommend waiting a few months after the release of any new software.Any new software is sure to cause problems for some folks. http://www.zdnet.com...osoft+Report%29

You can uninstall IE9 which will take you back to IE8. Instructions here: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows7/how-do-i-install-or-uninstall-internet-explorer-9
