What happened to make gas prices go up??? OMG, they went up 10 cents over night. I know it probably has something to do with people traveling and Thanksgiving weekend but this is ridiculous.

Good Morning Pcom The hubby and I were just talking that due to circumstances, we may have to have a nontraditional Thanksgiving meal this year but we have LOTS to be thankful for. This is the first Thanksgiving Ever that we know where all 3 of our kids are. Our oldest has met our youngest for the first time earlier this week, we both still have our jobs, we have a roof over our heads that we are no longer in danger of loosing, we have our health, our kids are good kids...none of them in trouble with the law, we have furbabies that love us unconditionally, we have a loved one that is now

I know of several folks who have lost their jobs and homes due to circumstances. These people are too proud to go and ask for help. The only way one would know what has happened to them is to know these people personally and still they are tooo proud to ask for "hand outs". These people are doing what they think is best and are just tooo embarassed to ask for help. We have had someone ask us if they could live in our pop up camper for the winter. That is no place to spend the winter as our camper is not made for it...nor for long term living. It broke our heart to tell them no and to offer

My 16 year old is going to be getting a new bed from one of his grandparents for Christmas/Birthday this year and I was thinking that a new bedding set would be a really nice gift. Anyone have any suggestions as to where to buy something nice but at a reasonable price? He has asked to go from a full to a twin size bed so that he can have more moving around room in his bedroom. Even though it was my 2nd marriage, my hubby still asked my Daddy for my hand. After what all my family went through with my ex...this was a VERY gutsy thing for my hubby to do. I keep hoping that our oldest daughter's significant other will ask my hubby before he actually pops the question to our daughter....we know it is coming.

Good Morning. Not much going on around here today. I will be cleaning out the kids' rooms. Getting toys and clothes that others can use any my kids don't or can't. Other than that, I will be trying to let my voice rest and get back to normal after the Hiram game last night. I It was sooooooo good getting to see our Band of Gold perform after not being on the field for 2 weeks.
