Do you remeber the day you met your spouse or

I met mine on Oct. 4, 1999. The first thing I asked him was, " Where have you been all my life?" and he replied.."waiting for you". We talked for the first time a few days later...for over 2 hours...the next day 3 red roses and a teddy bear showed up on my desk at work. I knew right then that he was the one. We had even mentioned the "L" word over the phone and e mail. We met in person Oct. 14, 1999. We were engaged the day after Christmas the same year and we will celebrate our 10th wedding anniversary on Jan. 15 of this upcoming year. I will say that my wonderful son..6 yo at the time. -
Glad I could make your night. What are you up to tonight? With a 3 yo and a 16 yo, I have no doubt that there is Always life out there.

I am here if that counts for anything.

IMO, Walmart has the best prices on just groceries but I tend to shop at Kroger because of the 10cents off on gas and the convience factor...that is a Biggy for me.

What about reserving the indoor pavilion at White Oak Park? We rented one of the out door pavilions last April and it was Very reasonably priced. You can also reserve a room at one of the resturants. I know that the Los Reyes near KSU does this for free. I've had one and been to at least 1 other one there. I'm sure that if you checked with Ryans or one of the other resturantants around PC, they would do the same thing. Good luck. Let me know if I can help you any.

kuddos to Benson's funeral home for letting folks park in their parking lot without any problems and to the florist next door for letting our little one use their potty. We througouhly enjoyed it!!!!! Thanks to all of those that were involved in putting it together and making sure it went smoothly.

Tanya at Blooms in Dallas is SUPER with my 3.5 year old. She has only had her hair cut 3 times in her entire life so it is still a big deal for her.

Where did this happen at? -
IMO, the weather forcast is Perfect for a Christmas parade. It would be weird to be in your shorts and t shirt for a Christmas parade. It will be interesting to see if the cold lessens the crowd.

Zipper, Look for me or call me....the princess and I will be there for sure....the Band of Gold is the first marching band in the parade.

Where are some reasonably priced places to go look for our son's class ring? My son came home today with the classring stuff from school. From what I remember back in my day, these folks were the most expensive of all. I want to get our son something nice, but I don't want to break the bank in doing so...especially since this is just the beginning of of the expenses. TIA

My 3 year old and I can not wait. I never understood all the hype about it until we went went the first year. My son will be the skinniest tuba in the Band of Gold . That was the easiest way for me to find him on the field this year. Y'all make sure you go by the Masonic Lodge and get some Hot Chocolate from the Rainbow Girls. They are really good kids.

My daughter was potty trained before she was 2 years old but she is still wetting the bed at night. She will be 4 in April. We were putting her in panties at night but it got to the point that I getting up every night changing her and the bed. When she does stay dry, we reinforce it with positive stuff...hugs, kisses, telling grandparents, etc.. We have gone back to putting her in pull ups at night so that I can get some sleep (hubby works nights). I wish I knew the secret to getting her potty trained at night. She was soooo easy to potty train during the day and this is just so extremely

How would you even Start to find this type of information? I would LOVE to do this for my kids.

WOW!!! Just WOW!!!!! Thank you for sharing your son's story. He is truly an incredible young man and you have Every right to brag on him. .

Thank you! I think one of the hardest things for me to deal with this year is an 8th grader who has already told me that it doesn't matter if they do their work or not because they have already decided they are not going to high school. They are now a constant disruption to my classroom and the teachers get no support from the parent(s).

Happy Thanksgiving everyone. Subby, you said it Very well. Thank you.

I've seen that to. I guess I've just had my head stuck in the sand and really hoped that the powers that be would not do that to the American people right now.

Looks like a Mamwhich and chips night for us. I put on pintos but I put them too late so we'll have them tomorrow night for supper and some cornbread to go with them.

Right now, it looks like we are going to have a BBQ Boston butt, sweet potatoe souffle, green beans, corn, pork n beans, mac n cheese, and biscuits. Not sure about dessert. That may just be Dutch oven cobbler and roasted marshmallows since we already have the coals hot. If not that, then Cracker Barrell will be taking care of our's. I have decided that it is not about the meal, but about what we have to be Thankful for and That...we have Lots of. -
That is what I figured but it just stinks for those that still have to buy gas just to get to work this week. I guess I should not complain. The kids and I are pretty much staying home and we are trying to only use my car and let hubby's take a rest since his uses more gas and needs some now. Still...I know folks are struggling and this is like kicking many when they are down and to do it over the Holiday is just not right. We all know that it won't go down 10 cents come Sunday night when the "long" weekend is over.
