That is Wonderful!!!! You have Every reason to be proud. We are in the process now of trying to get my almost 4 yo to stop pee peeing in the bed at night and get out of pullups. I am all ears for suggestions on this. She took to day time potty training quickly and easily.

good luck to both of you.

Good vibes and prayers coming your way. I know how you feel. Sometimes, things just get overwhelming. I'm sure when you get your furbaby home things will seem much better.
-
I don't think you are wrong at all. Honestly though, I don't think you will ever see those cushions again. I would go out and price some so that you have a figure to tell him what he owes you to replace them. Maybe he needs a good ol hormonal female to go off on him. I bet that will teach him a lesson.

That is tooo cute. Maybe more of us need to learn that lesson. I just need someone to teach me how to crochet ...literally. My dh would not at all be surprised to see that I had that kind of money stashed away...I'm a bit tight with money when I get it.

I have only used J & J with both of my kids. DD is almost 4 and we have Just started using stuff other than J & J to wash her with...we will use the No More Tears shampoo.

I am 16 yrs older than my little sister who is from March -July younger than my step daughter. It is odd because some of the stuff my little sister is doing, my step daughter has already pulled so I'm giving my birth dad advice concerning my little sister. There is also 12 yrs difference between me and my little brother....my little brother was 11 wen my son was born and my little sister was only 7 when my son was born. My birth father's fiance and my husband are the same age. There is only 7 yrs difference between my future son in law and me. When he and my step daughter get mar

I managed to develop that Before they ever did my surgery. They had to put my surgery off a day to get my levels down....even though hubby had rushed me to the hospital that night and they had put me on a gurny in the hallway and given me a cocktail of morphine and phenogin (sp?). At least I didn't feel any pain while I waited and I wasn't having the nausea of the attacks. Oh, becareful of what you eat for a while. I have found that my tummy doesn't handle foods high in fat and if I do eat them, I don't need to let myself get far from a restroom for a while afterwards. I agree, I was

Andy just said that he did not have any insurance. Folks, we need to pull together for Andy.
-
I agree. They have fixed my dad Many meals since my mom died almost 17months ago. I have never heard my dad/parents (when mom was alive) say a negative thing about Andy or any of the folks that work for him. I have no suggestions but will be willing to help anyway I can. Soooo many mom and pop places have gone under with this economy. Andy has managed to keep Hunts afloat. I would had to see this resturant go away because of a fire.

I completely agree with what to expect when you go to the dr.. The surgery is usually an outpatient procedure. It is done laproscopicly (sp?). Most folks are able to go back to work within a couple of weeks. I had mine done a day or so before Christmas break and was able to return to work when everyone else went back. The most inconvient thing will be wearing a bra. One of my incisions was right in that line. Best of luck. Please keep us posted.

Oh NO!!!! We all need to put Andy, his family, and his employees in our prayers. It is amazing how much our lives can change within in 24 hours or less. We were just eating there after church yeseterday and talking to Andy.
-
Please keep us updated. My dad called and told me about this earlier. I feel sooo bad for Andy. This is the last thing he needs.
-
We'll be going to church in the morning and hubby has to go to work tomorrow afternoon. The kids and I will also likely head over to west cobb and see my dad. All of this is contingent upon the roads. If they are bad then none of us will be going anywhere.
-
I was wondering if you all were going to postpone your mom's funeral. I hope the road clear up for you all. YOu are in my thoughts and prayers. Your family feeds my daddy nightly and I am greatful that you all are there for him. He has missed very few evening meals with your family over the last almost 17 months.

PRAISE GOD!!!!!! Anna's story is living proof that prayers work and miracles do happen. I'm sitting here with tears in my eyes as I read this. -
You know they are adding 15 min...of useless time IMO...to our school day after we return from spring break? I was at a meeting today and how that 15 min is going to be distributed throughout the school day was a big topic of discussion. If they plan for us to get out early tomorrow...like the call suggested... then they can adjust our schedule for the day and I will get to see all of my students and at least get to tie up loose end to an extent. It won't be perfect conditions but the kids will get the basic point of the assignment and I won't have to reteach when we return from break .

Okay, I am probably the weirdest teacher out here but I'm honestly hoping that we have school tomorrow. I don't want to think of making up Yet another snow day. Not to mention, I need my kids to finish up a project tomorrow. If we wait til after break, then they will not remember a single bit of it and I will have to spend at least 2-3 days reteaching. With CRCT coming up before we know it, I don't have time like that to loose. My thought is that if we go in for at least a 1/2 day then we will not have to make it up. I'm hoping and betting that we will have school tomorrow.
-
Does anyone know what was discussed or more importantly, what was decided upon at tonight's BOE meeting? Furlough day for teachers? How we are going to make up the 2 snow days? Anything else? TIA

It is nice to put a name with a face. My dad liked to have had a complete fit when I told him that I had met someone with my mom's name....fist and last. From our meeting, my mom would be proud to share her name with you. Yea, my son is quite carried away with it all. However, my 4 yo dd couldn't understand the huge bandaids that we were both sporting. The pink straps were worth it all. I've got to have surgery this summer and I just hope someone will take one for the team like I did in order to get me a pit or so if I need it when my time comes. It was nice to meet you.

I went and gave as well as did my 16 yo. My vein rolled with the first try but I let them have my other arm and did great. DS is soooo excited about giving. They have him an extra sandwich coupon.....they know the way to a teenage boy's mind and a way to get him to give again . I would love to know if they met their goal of 100 pints. There was a steady group of folks coming in while I was there at about 4:30 or so.
-
Both of you will be in my prayers. Please let me know if there is any way that we can help and Please be careful going to your mom.

Honestly, I don't want either. I'm tired of all the rain and if the kids have another snow day, there will not be a summer for any of us. Give me 80 degree temps and dry weather and I would be one happy person
