Band of Gold Parent here as well. This will be our 3rd season as well. I tend to be partial to the TUBAS In case anyone hasn't warned you......we let our presence be known when we are around...not just by our Gold shirts but we can be a bit ROWDY as well. One school told us 2 years ago that if we come back, they will give us our own stands...we let our presence known sooo well . Welcome aboard.

Just wondering if there are any p.comers going to Taylor Farm Park to watch the movie under the stars tongight. We have never been so tonight is going to be a first for us. We are really looking forward to it.

What kind of stuff does she take? I am about to have LOTS of clothes and some toys. Will she take these? Isn't she the one that Helping Hands gives vouchers to? I would lots rather donate to a person that helps the needy as to some other places in town.

My mom had a tropicana rose in her yard that her dad had given her no long before he died. A rose of any color was her favorite (one of the reasons our youngest daughter's middle name is Rose), that tropicana rose was her favorite. My mom has been in Heaven 18 months as of the 27th of last month. She is getting to spend her 2nd Mother's Day with her mom and my great grandmother. I have no doubt that she is smiling down from Heaven as she watches over us down here. My mom was my very bestest friend. I miss her every day.

Being a teacher in the Paulding County system, I can guarantee you all that the quality of education your children receive next year will not lessen regardless of how much of our pay is cut. Your child may not get the one on one attention that they are used to, but we will all do what we can to the best of our abilities. The one big change I can promise you will happen in most of our classrooms is that we will expect the children to come to class prepared with pencils and paper. We, the teachers, simply will not be able to afford to take care of everyone else's kids in regards to that are

As a middle school teacher, I would be honored for Anything from any of my parents or students. I can promise you, with the black cloud that many of the teachers in this county have hanging over our heads, all of us are greatful for any kind of appreciation that is shown towards us. Even as a parent, I have gotten lapse in showing my son's teachers how much we appreciate all they do as he has progressed through school.

Hey now, you forgot to mention the Braves . I'm just wondering if anyone is up to grilling Bologna . Actually, we have considered having to live out of our pop up camper a time or 2. We still have our tents and an air bed in the shed if we were to need them.

Actually, those are mandated by the Federal Special Ed laws, the disability of the child, and the number of students in a special ed. classroom.

They are making my daughter's cake for her 4th Birthday. They are Super nice folks there. It is a good thing they are out of my way to work
