Who just went into(can't say that they broke into it because DH didn't lock it) our Green Chevy Blazer at the Kroger at 61/278 just remember, Karma is a WITCH!!!!! You stole the radio box my DH made to use in his truck at work, and part of a pack of cigarettes, as well as rambled through the rest of my consol. We have always felt safe there, but you have taken away our innocents. It is bad enough that we have a sick child and DH and I are having to take time off work to take care of her and here you come having to kick us when we are down. YOu will get what is coming!!!!!!!!

Thanks everyone. I guess I have just gotten cheap this year but I have a problem paying someone over $100 to do something that seems like I /dh and I can do. Keep in mind, this is from somone whose husband fixed the upper intake gasket in both vehicles just after school started. We are getting more and more about doing things ourselves and keeping the money for other things.....like our visit to the Mouse House

As a means of saving some money this year I am seriously considering doing our own taxes with Turbo Tax. To put it mildly, I am very scared. I have Never done my own taxes. Those of you that do your own taxes, either with this program or another, is it easy? Is there anything I need to know..do's and don'ts. Hubby and I both work one job each and just have the standard deductions so there is nothing complicated about out situation.

We are looking at taking the family to Disney World during the Sept break later this year. We will be staying in our pop up camper at the campground inside the park. Our kids will be 5 yo and almost 18 yo by that point. This will be our first (and probably only) time going down as a family. We are talking about renting a 4 door pick up truck to haul our camper with...not real sure any of our vehicles will make the trip and trying to keep some of the wear off of them. What advice do you all have for us? Which meal deals are the best? Are there websites to do to in order to get dis

The worst part is that he is more accutate than any one around. I Really hope he is wrong this time. I agree with others, I have had enough of this mess for this year. In my line of work where I am held to legal deadlines and the state checks up on us from time to time this is not good either. If we have another round of winter weather this week, I am dead in the water.

Thanks for letting us know. Even though the one at 61/278 is closer, I will make the trip up there to save some money. I'm surprised they are not just boxing up all of the merchandise and moving it to other stores. This truly benefits the shoppers though.

I fall in that 55% as well.

I am assuming if they have changed to Euros, then they have joined the EU.

I have a crib mattress and a nice stroller you can have. The crib mattress has never been out of the plastic and is like brand new.

My daughter attends Pre K at the Sunshine house. We LOVE it there. Due to our work schedules, she is in the before and ASP program. She was at the same facility from the time she was 3.5 months old until school started this year. Making the change was not an easy on my DH and I emotionally, the people at the other facility was like family, but we have not regretted making the change for one second. Best of luck on your decision.

My hubby got home from the corner of Campcreek and FID at about 6:30 tonight. He said you still have to watch the intersections and bridges. He said that overall the roads are good between the west side of Dallas and there. He will have to make the trip again in the morning...not sure what time. Be safe if you are out there on the roads.

We got out a good bit yesterday and unless things are much worse than I'm thinking...I'm thinking(then again it is probably wishful thinking) we may go back tomorrow. If not tomorrow then Friday. My building is open today...admin and custodians are there....and we were told that we can come in and work if we want to. I have everything, including the craziness of my own kids, here at home so I'm working from here for a bit.

I was raised an only child( by my mom and adoptive dad) but my birth father found me what I was almost 26 years old and I "magically" became the oldest of 3.....my brother is almost 12 yrs younger than me and my sister is 16 years and 1 day younger than me. I am the take charge, opinionated, passionate one. Even as an only child, I was a caregiver/mother hen type person.

My husband has to go in at 5:30 in the morning. He works right at the Campcreek/FID intersection. The company he works for was closed down yesterday and when he called them at 10 this morning there was not an answer. Then again, he works for a trucking company and with the roads the way they are, freight can't get in or out right now so no real use in him going into work.

Let's not forget how this weather tends to bring neighbors how...check up on each other or get to know those you have not met because one or both of you are never home. I to am thankful for still having power.
