  1. Oh I understand his statement. My response was more a fecitious comment. And he could have very well been being sarcastic in his statement but i wasnt quite sure. Unions are great for the worker (union member) but not so great for the business or the company, and further more the economy. I've heard of unions shutting down business because their beurocratic pompous asses demanded so much for their union members that they couldn't turn a profit. Unions are just plain unnecessary. Yes companies that don't pay their people what they are worth go out of business, but companies that pay
  2. Explain that one Wylie.
  3. I've always stopped for funerals as well, it's just how I was brought up. I don't care one way or the other if anyone else on the road stops or not, not my problem, and there are plenty of other things to worry about anyway. But when I went to my great uncle's funeral in Pennsylvania, while in the funeral procession line on the way to the gravesite some ass wad on an intersecting road needed to turn onto the road we were going down, he apparently couldn't wait until everyone in the line passed so he jumps in front of us in the middle of the procession then a few streets down turns off and go
  4. It's funny you mention that RM I was just thinking about him. I remember one of the last posts he made was regarding his son and I was just wondering how he's doing now. Hope all is well.
  5. Oh my, well even though your in a crap shoot it's good that you're getting the help you need to be able to get back to better health. Hoping for a nice speedy recovery!
  6. Ours has been on for the last few days. It kicks on at night. I wonder when Spring will get here.
  7. Okay how do you write upside down? I've never seen that one before. Also, it doesn't help to read that when your on the iPad!
  8. Well it looks like one of the favorites ORB won it. I thought it was a good race. When he came up on the outside after the last turn I knew he had it. Boy would I love to see a Triple Crown winner this year! Guess we'll wait and see.
  9. I hear you can drive across the entire state, at it's widest point, in about an hour.
  10. It wouldn't play for me. Got a thing against iPads?
  11. That's surprising the info I'm seeing on Audi's. I've never owned one nor do I know anyone who has owned one, but we own a VW Jetta (same company) and it's the best car we've ever owned, hands down. I guess Audi's are just a different story though. My vote is for the Mercedes. An American made auto is a nice suggestion, ya know helping the US economy and all that, but American autos aren't really made in American anymore anyway.
  12. Very nice service. Of course I cried when Alan Jackson sang at the end. Thought Mike Huckabee was a good speaker. I liked Kid Rock as well. And I'm sorry but I just have to say that Wynona's "How great thou art" was not very good at all. RIP George
  13. Jones funeral showing right now on RFDTV.
  14. Asphalt shingles. One word: economical.
  15. Oh my gawd, what a jerk!! And why on earth the judge agreed that this guy be awarded the refund is even more mind boggling than the guy suing in the first place. Un-friggen-believable!!
  16. I don't disagree with that statement, when the crime fits the punishment of course. Oh and to answer your question in the title of this thread....when the wife says you're wrong, then guess what, you're wrong.
  17. My husband isn't feeling well either. He has coughing, congestion, stuffy nose, etc. and even vomiting due to the symptoms. I don't think he has a fever though. He thinks it started with allergies. A couple days ago he woke up with scratchy throat and a bit of congestion and he think it turned into a sinus infection. He's been in bed and will most likely be there all day. Hope Papi feels better soon!
