Well in the picture it does look like that's just scaffolding at the top, so it probably won't look exactly like this when it's finally erected, I mean finished. -

That must have been very hard to build. -
I couldn't imagine dating anyone 20 years older than me. My dad is 21 years older than me. To me, it just wouldn't seem right.

I usually try to do this but I hate when the garbage can is so far away from the door that this is physically impossible.

When the toilet paper is out, switch out a new roll. Don't just set it on top of the holder. This also goes for paper towels. When you get pee on the seat in a public restroom, at least have the decency to wipe it off with TP before you leave. Don't let your children run wild in public places. I'm sure I can come up with more later. Oh Lord, this one I TOTALLY agree with! I hate it when they look you straight in the eyes and it's obvious you need them to move so that you can get by and they still do nothing! Idiots I tell you!!

Yes, I think you are correct. I remember that too.

We love Jif. I've never cared for the kind you have to stir either. They also have this at Kroger in the health food section. I'm not sure what its called either. I've been curious to try it but kind of hesitant at the same time. I had never seen anything like that before until I discovered it in the store a while back.

I would have been equally pissed and just as outraged if I had heard about it during Bush. But I honestly don't remember any news reports or articles of this magnitude on this issue. I don't deny that you are correct or that it happened under Bush, I just simply don't remember it. Next time I'll wait until there's a republican in office to express my feelings on the matter.

Oh my, that looks and sounds soooo good! I am so gonna save this recipe and make it as soon as I can. Thanks for posting Blondie! (even though it wasn't for me)

I highly disagree. I don't see this as partisan issue but rather an American issue. Political party has nothing to do with it. Unfortunately whichever ass-wipe is in power at the time has to deal with the repercussions of how the administration chooses to handle it, whether poorly or not. Thank you!!

IKR? And this close to where we live too. Just gives a warm fuzzy, doesn't it!

At least you know what it is now. Hope you get to feeling better soon!

I haven't been there since a teenager, before I cared about germs and what not. I'm not so eager to go jump in the water with thousands of people that you have no idea what they've done, or haven't done for that matter, before they got there. And kiddie pools?...No way. But I had loads of fun when I was a kid! Just take necessary precautions is all. Have fun!

Or there could be dead animals in the attic, like squirrels, mice, or other small birds. -
Genetically Modified Grains - What's your take on them?
NinaBritt replied to surepip's topic in RECENT TOPICS
Your right. Monsanto is also a corrupt corporation that destroys the lives of the hard working farmer, not to mention lines the politicians pockets despite the best interest of the American citizen. -
I agree with you. I am sure that the ones out there who feel that what the NSA is doing as justifiable will think of him as a traitor to our nation. I think of him as a hero.

Genetically Modified Grains - What's your take on them?

Yes, I do buy some of Simple Truth products and they are reasonable. All the baby food I have bought for my son has been organic - earth's best, gerber, plum, Ella's kitchen, just to name a few. But now that he's coming off the baby food and going to regular food I'm finding it hard and somewhat financially difficult to continue an all organic diet for him. He's also starting to become a quite picky eater. I do admire your determination though. -

Yes, Exactly, a VERY huge difference in hybridization and GMO - do your research folks. And those folks are right, they have been doing hybridization for a long time now, but not the genetic mutation of our food which has gotten way out of hand in the last 20 or so years. Articles have been written about these GMOs and that they are linking them to food allergies, organ damage, autism, obesity, and even cancer. just as was stated in an earlier post on the genetic mutation of strawberries, the same has happened with tomatoes. Certain tomatoes have been genetically modified with a fish gene -
Say whaaaat?!? I don't know anything about this story. Can some please fill me in? Or post a link?

That's so crazy, sounds like it could be a movie....oh wait. Seriously though, this is very sad. RIP to these brave men and prayers for their families.

This may be a silly question but why would anyone drive with their left foot? The only answer I can come up with is if the person driving was a right leg/foot amputee.
