In some (wimpy) countries they cut off the fingers or hands of shoplifters.

I think Black Friday is discriminatory... It's discriminatory of people who don't have enough money.

The Burj Khalifa was built in a manner that they can add onto the top of it (think of legos) so that they can always have the tallest building.

No, you missed the point. My point is that everyone has their own moral systems as to what they feel is something they should or should not do. We shouldn't impose those beliefs on other individuals. However, the Muslims DO feel that everyone should live by their standards. And if you haven't noticed, they are continuing to increase their populations here in the US and elsewhere in the world.

While it is public record, I can see many reasons why mugshots of the accused (innocent until proven guilty) should not be made public until there is a conviction. With today's litigious society, people will accuse anyone these days since there is little to no repercussion for making false accusations. A person who is falsely accused and arrested for a crime that the person did not commit, has to rely on the justice system to clear his name but there is nothing that can be done to properly expunge his record and reputation in the minds of anyone who might have seen his mugshot. As long

To each his own. Muslims don't believe in eating pork, or drinking alcoholic beverages, or nudity, or homosexuality, or equality of women, and the list goes on. That doesn't mean that we all have to live by Sharia law, at least until the Muslims take over our communities (re: Detroit), and our local and state governments.

LAS VEGAS (CBS Las Vegas) — A Las Vegas business owner with 114 employees fired 22 workers today, apparently as a direct result of President Obama's re-election. "I explained to them a month ago that if Obama gets in office that the regulations for Obamacare are gonna hurt our business, and I'm gonna have to make provisions to make sure I have enough money to cover the payroll taxes, the additional health care I'm gonna have to do, and I explained that to them and I said you do what you feel like in your heart you need to do, but I'm just letting you know as a warning this is things I have to

I noticed that my employer has removed all of the open job positions from their web site. There was a mention of some apprehensiveness in the last company meeting call. Looks like it's going to be a long, four years of work overload for me.

I think you're going to find that the CPAs are going to suggest selling your investments so you can get the current capital gains tax rate because it goes through the roof.

I believe more people are now hoping the Mayans were right.

There should be a test for intelligence and reasoning before some people are allowed to vote. -
Once again, you are speaking the truth. That is exactly the same as I was told directly by our FSA provider.

We got in line at 6:45 AM and we got out at 7:30. When we left the line was around the building and down through the parking lot.

I just got off the phone with the provider of the FSA. They said new regulations are limiting ALL FSA accounts to a $2500 maximum - period. If anyone tells you they have higher limits have not been informed of the new 2013 regulations.

I just got an email about our enrollment period for 2013 Heath care Flexible Savings Account where health care expenses can be paid for with pre-tax dollars. "Due to health care reform, the maximum annual deduction amount for 2013 has been reduced to $2,500 for the Health Care FSA." Now, from what Obama said, his Healthcare reforms would not affect the middle class. I guess he was wrong - again. Now this is going to cost me a lot more out of pocket for next year. THANKS MR OBAMA. [/s]

Yes it is true, and there were White House communications to these corporations that were going to be affected by the layoffs to NOT disclose that information until after the elections and that the Government would pay for any legal expense or fines that these corporations were charged with for not complying with the mandatory reporting statute.

If you have access to someone's Facebook account who has passed, you can at least go into the account settings and remove all of the apps so that none of them will be posting on their behalf.

I wonder if the HOA will approve digging up the front yard to look for gold?

It's apparent that some people's bias is showing since the nonpartisan Pew Research Center came up with these findings. Just goes to show who can judge objectively and who can't.

Interesting... MSNBC's coverage of Mitt Romney was far more negative than Fox News' coverage of President Barack Obama during the period of Aug. 27 through Oct. 21, according to a study from Pew Research Center. During that time, 71 percent of MSNBC's coverage of Romney was negative, compared to 46 percent negative coverage of Obama by Fox. The News Corp. network also beat MSNBC on the positive side. Fox gave Obama 6 percent positive coverage, while MSNBC gave Romney only 3 percent positive coverage. My link
