Nah, I won't make fun of you. Since you have a lake then you have snakes too but the good news is that someone told me that if you have a duck then snakes stay away. Yup they live there but they have their own problems and are certainly not going to get involved cause they "don't do" cops. I was watching ET and this "man" is on there bragging how he was in Larry King's bed, watching his show, WITH LARRY'S WIFE! What is wrong with these people? That's funny, a friend and I were just talking yesterday that to certain people you just have to get ugly. You don't want to but they leave you no choice. You said referral like three times in your post. Are you concerned that whoever referred them to you would get a phone call from the deck stainer dude saying "Your friend stopped payment on my check"? If the referral plays like that I'm not sure I would want to know them in the first place. While I realize that any opportunity to slam the present administration is a given around here, I really think it had more to do with local county government than any federal government involvement. And as far as the 3 day work week, it is not going to happen. Simply put, the mayor does not have the authority to impose such a thing.

I heard the story last week as well and I remember thinking....huh? How does THAT happen? No service cutbacks no reduced buses, just gone. Public transportation just gone? It really did sound unbelievable. No school, no work, no shopping, no nothing....... And if you think this is no big deal, well chances are that you have never had to rely on public transportion.
