Breakfast at Chat & Choo in Villa Rica...specifically their omelet with ham, cheese & peppers (I think it's called the miner's omelet or something like that)...YUM!...and I'm a picky omelet person. Can you tell me where you got the DVD? Did you have to order directly from the network? I SO want to watch this...never even knew about it until I was watching one of their fundraisers not too long ago and they were offering the first 2 seasons for a certain donation. This show looks like it would be AWESOME!!! I'd love to see it from the beginning. Thanks for any info you may have on how to get DVDs of it.

I really appreciate all the info you provided in your reply to my post. So I stand corrected about the growth hormones, etc. Sounds like you know your chicken!

I've had the same experience with chicken. The chickens raised with growth hormones are never as good as those that are not (greenwise, springer mountain, etc.). So I would rather pay more and have good chicken that I don't have to worry about having hormones, etc. in them. If you still have your receipt I would see if Kroger will take them back.

oh, thought about another one..."redneck caviar"... 1 can black beans 2 cans whole kernel corn 2 cans blackeye peas 1 large can tomatoes (or can use Rotel if you like it spicy) 1 large sweet onion chopped about a half bunch of cilantro leaves chopped - more or less to taste 1 bottle zesty italian salad dressing Mix all together (better if sits refrigerated for a while or overnight) Serve with tortilla chips This one's good AND EASY!

how about jalapeno poppers? Cut peppers longways in half and scrape out seeds (wear gloves for this!). Fill halves with cream cheese, a little cheddar cheese, wrap with 1/2 slice of bacon. Bake at about 375 for 15-20 min or until bacon is crispy (turkey bacon crisps better - if using reg. bacon I would cook these at 400). They're yummy. If you want them hotter then mix some of the seeds in with the cream cheese, and have a drink close by when you eat them!

This is hilarious!!! Don't know if this one's gay or not -- and really don't care -- but this isn't the weather man that's usually on there that actually is gay and engaged. He did in fact announce both facts just a little while back on GMA but it's not like he talks about it all the time. Heard that too but never tried it. My mom did and she thought it made her better. If your congestion is a cough, the best remedy I've found is a good single malt Scotch whiskey with raw honey and real lemon juice. Heat that just to warm, drink it and go straight to bed! We've used Garrison's Photography in Douglasville for years for those "milestone" pics of our children. I HIGHLY recommend them. Yes, they're a little expensive, but there's no one around that does portraits like they do.
