  1. Yeah, the bone-in-the-nachos incident ruined it for us for good. We'll never, ever go back. Almost lost my cookies on that one. Loved it up until then, but that was just grosser that gross!
  2. We haven't been back to J&N since we found a chicken bone in our nachos. EW!!!
  3. crab legs, and my son swears I'm going to ruin them...just to prove him wrong, any suggestions or cooking tips?
  4. It means she's first in line on the racetrack for next Sunday's race.
  5. I second this one! My very young child sees Dr. Shirley and loves him!
  6. Wish we could have bought some cookies from you today! Didn't get back in town until later today. Hope you sold a lot!
  7. Too funny! Now you can sing it right, girl!!! :)
  8. Don't forget one of your old friends here...do you know who I am? Don't type my name - I'd like to remain anonymous. It's funny...I'm about as popular as I was in school...LOL! No one knows me and apparently have no desire to meet me! Think I'll just go to bed now...
  9. Okay, I am giggling while I'm typing here...Are you talking about "Dream Weaver"???? - old one from the 70's (I think)?
  10. Gotta agree with you on the "Eye of the Tiger" song. That was a stupid song to have to walk to!
  11. I'm thinking it's usually 55 but not sure.
  12. That is very nice. Every Indian business owner I've encountered are very, very nice and seem so genuine in their appreciation of my patronage. It's refreshing. I remember the days when the grocery store clerks would say "thank you." Hardly ever hear that any more. You're most welcome! I went there many, many times before I looked carefully at the big gas price sign. Before that, I just thought it was the price difference in unleaded & hi-test!
  13. Also, this Marathon on Hwy 61S charges a higher price for gas if you use a debit or credit card.
  14. How about lots of mylar balloons and shiny streamers?
  15. Don't forget theft here in Paulding. Sad to say, but there's a lot of that.
  16. Ew. Yep - that's the one. Well darn...guess I just better learn to cook Mexican food!
  17. fyi - They still have a location in New Ga store - opened the new location just last week on 92 at Nebo. Glad to hear they're doing well enough to expand!
  18. Yes, it's been a while though -- sometime during last year if I recall correctly. Most of their staff changed, too. And we had gotten to know so many of them because we ate there ALL the time! I sure miss those folks! I should say that I believe it was the "owners" who changed -- if they weren't the actual owners then whoever it was that was always in charge down there (older tall gentleman, very nice man).
  19. We've never been to that one but will have to give it a try. I heard the one in downtown Villa Rica is good too.
  20. I agree - not a good policy. Sounds like this "keep the change without asking" policy is just their normal practice there now. They changed owners a while back. Since then the service went downhill, prices went up, and their health inspection score went down, too. Now that want to keep everyone's change. I gotta find me a new Mexican restaurant!!!
  21. I know I'm kinda changing the subject of this thread with my response here, but I just had to comment about this Mexican restaurant in New Ga. I ordered take out a couple of weeks ago and the girl just kept my loose change instead of giving me exact change back. She never asked me if I wanted it, and did not give me my receipt. Now I know this may seem petty, but it was just the principal of the thing (not to mention I DO save loose change and use it at the end of the year toward Christmas gifts). I was TICKED about her presumption that I wouldn't notice or that it didn't matter so I asked
  22. Their BBQ is really good! They've got a good menu and their chicken fingers were great, too!
