I must live under a rock! What was the name of the movie? I never heard about it but would like to see it!
-
What are they called now? (And I think Moonie was saying that her season's pass (which have been called that for 30+ years) came with a free ticket for someone else to use.)

hope this helps!... We are off of Hwy 278, by Best Buy, BB&T and JC Pennys. This is the shopping center across the street from Target. We are next door to Cheeseburger Bobby's Gator Games and American Family Insurance. Applesbee's is in the same shopping center right in front of us, along with Jim and Nicks, Hope this helps. Also here is a google link to show you were we are.https://maps.google.com/maps?q=5077+Jimmy+Lee+Smith+Parkway,+Hiram,+GA&ie=UTF-8&hq=&hnear=0x88f53ae902d422fb:0x877d5aeb1f589387,5077+Jimmy+Lee+Smith+Pkwy,+Hiram,+GA+30141&gl=us&ei=423VUf7lMqq40g

How about a cleaner look to our roads...so many roadsides are littered with trash because idiots can't wait to get home or to their next stopping point to put their trash where it belongs. There also doesn't seem to be too much county enforcement on junked up yards, either.

Yes, it is closed. I drove by it just yesterday and there's a sign posted that says it's closed Summer 2013. Not sure if that means it's closed for good, but it looks very run down and abandoned and it didn't appear any work was being done on it.

Alsobrooks Recycling (Hwy 92 near Ridge Road intersection) will take it and will PAY YOU for it.

Oh good! I'm glad it worked!

I hope you have a safe trip, former member! ***** I don't understand why some people are so hateful to this woman. I don't post too much, but I try to be kind to others when I do. I've seen some very hurtful comments toward former member...every time she posts something there's always mean comments made to her. Life is too short to treat people that way, whether you like them or not -- whether you agree with them or not. I believe that what goes around comes around. If you don't have something nice to say, you shouldn't say anything at all. Not trying to start something, but I fe

A friend of mine had pics taken on the silver comet trail (somewhere around the Coots Lake trailhead - not sure which direction from there). There's an old train tunnel that looks really neat!
-
True. But mine was a re-heated hot dog - not so great! Would've been much better fresh off the grill!

Sounds better than my hot dog.

There is a product called "Keep Off" that is a spray repellant for dogs. Below is information/instructions that I copied from the web: Instructions: To break your pet of undesirable habits indoors, spray the forbidden area lightly so that the area or object is slightly moistened or spray a cloth lightly and place it on the object to be protected. Test the effects of Keep Off! before spraying extensive areas by first treating a small inconspicuous area. Repeat daily, or as necessary, until your pet'sundesirable habit is broken. To prevent your pet or stray animals from soiling outdoor flower -
Thanks so much for the detailed instructions! I'm going to try brining next time, but I sure do wish I had one of those stoves to cook them on!
-
Sounds delicious and easy. Please tell me how to brine them -- inexperienced "briner" here. And how did you "sear" them in a baking dish? I put mine in a glass dish after dusting with flour, dredging through egg, coating with seasoned Panko bread crumbs. They got tough and mushy before they were done. I ended up having to broil them to crisp them up. Think I'll just fry them next time if I bread them this way...I think trying to bake them was the big mistake.

Weeelll, I cooked pork chops the other night that a grizzly bear couldn't tear into. How can I make them tender next time? I pounded, seasoned, breaded and baked them and they stunk. Help? My family never wants me to make pork chops again.

How about meeting people where they "live" -- online. Sad to say, but we're all there more than just about anywhere else. I would LOVE, LOVE, LOVE to be able to drive over to the library -- and I'm only 3 minutes away (really) -- to enjoy a book club for just one evening would be absolutely wonderful, but it honestly just isn't do-able. Dinner, homework, dishes and bedtime for little ones keep me anchored at home. But an online chat AFTER kids' bedtime or another convenient time for me just might be the answer. I don't think the library is doing anything wrong -- just maybe not taking the

Honestly sounds to me as if your son is perfectly normal. But I'm not a doc. I do, however, have 2 kids...one boy, one girl. Their developmental stages were very different - the girl reaching milestones sooner. My son was still drawing arms and legs out of the head when he was in kindergarten (which apparently irked his teacher!). He never liked coloring, drawing, or anything like that. He was 100% "boy" in that he would have rather kicked something over and climbed up something ANY day over sitting and drawing! He's pretty much grown now and is just fine (and would still rather kick so
