Oscar, I recently read somewhere (I can't remember where, or I'd pull it up) that backless booster seats are just as safe as the belt-positioning boosters. We use a belt-positioning booster because the seatbelt doesn't go across Little A's chest correctly yet without the back. I *think* it's up to you.

The worst thing he could do would be to buy those high-sugar/caffeine energy drinks (Amp, Redbull, etc....) Those will just get him jittery and then cause him to crash. I don't know exactly what a healthy alternative would be if he's specifically looking for something like it. Definitely tell him to keep lots of fruits and veggies around. They're easy snacks and healthy, too.

Yep. We have to pay back our 'tax credit' bc we bought our home in 2008. Had we bought our home 4 months later, we would have gotten $500 more and wouldn't have to pay it back. Makes me angry!

My Aunt Lisa. She owns a hair salon back home called Scissor Trix, so I get my hair done for free. Except highlights and such. I have to pay for the color, but that's it. Pretty good deal.

Target's are actually good, too. We got Little A's cake there (made from cupcakes) in August.
