  1. I'm watching...and honestly, I'm SO GLAD that they are saying what his name is. I can only hope that the renegade justice is served. 4 YEARS? Our system is MOTHEREFFING BROKEN!
  2. I've been BALLING all morning listening to the Bert show say goodbye to Melissa!! I wish her well! I bet mommy-hood is in the future!
  3. Just an update - I've decided to go short and just let people talk about the unrefined American. I have exhausted all options of formal wear acquisition.
  4. Exciting to me! Anyone else see irony in TP reading a book called "Self Matters"?
  5. Why did she leave her car in that parking lot - don't get that piece unless she intentionally wanted it to appear as if she were gone for good. And their house has been a three ring circus for days, so her kids were VERY aware that she was "missing" and endangered. FIVE children. And she's not even 30. I have no idea how she has that nice a body.
  6. I'm having Indian for lunch, which got me thinking...do they use the name utensils? So I googled: Fingers are the main utensil used in India. Only the right hand is used as the left is used for cleaning yourself and is considered dirty. The fingers are used to mix the curries with the rice, and then to pick up and scoop the food into the mouth. Flat bread is also be used to soak up or encapsulate the food for placing in the mouth. As you get further north forks and spoons are used more often, especially in tourist restaurants. Some other customs: http://www.thetravelalmanac.
  7. Haley should have done "Son of a Preacher Man" James rocked...well, Zakk rocked, but James was good too.
  8. Something is way up - He's beating on her, sho nuff.
  9. Now, she can pay back all that money in wasted resources.
  10. "The Friend" seems to be the oddest to me. These people were more than a million in debt, $150K on credit cards alone - this leads me to believe that they lived a fairly superficial "keep up with the Jonses" life (also accounting for the pictures I've seen), yet the guy's best friend is a RED ASS truck driver! Anything's possible, but talk about an odd couple...
  11. Undergrad or Masters? Chances are you won't be able to find a recruiter that will help you unless you have a lot of work/intern history. They make 12-20% off your first year's salary, which will probably be $30K. They would much rather try to place one of the 489 six figure guys that they have on the bench. I would start networking at some of the local business groups. Check out TAG - they have a student membership. All the major Atlanta companies have representation in TAG and you can likely get yourself a paid internship.
  12. If you want to be close to jobs WHY IN THE HELL do you choose to live in Paulding? It would be a far better use of money to connect Marietta to Alpharetta. Again, we're encouraging even more sprawl - very short sighted. Why in the hell would build a road even further out to nowhere when we don't even have a railway infrastructure to support those that live 10 miles from downtown????????
  13. Obama has announced that he will seek re-election. Does he still have to get the democratic nomination, or does an incumbent automatically get the nod?
  14. As a junior?! That is quite an accomplishment! Congrats to your SIL!
  15. I don't have a password. Is this about your cervical fluid again?
  16. Ha! I thought you were trying to point our a young person helping an older person load their car!
  17. I think it was Scarlet in the Library with the candlestick.
  18. call and ask if the have a same day change policy. This should allow you to change within 24 hours of your original flight for a reduced fee. If you have to change prior to that, it will be between 50 and 150 dollars (I don't fly AA much) plus the difference in fare. You can search the airlines for a one way on the change date and see what their current fare is, minus your current ticket price and add $150. If you call, they can give you all of this information prior to booking. PS, if you want to PM me your flights and more details, I know how to work every angle of air travel an
  19. I don't know how to explain this to you other than to say that India's dense population means that they may have more Muslim bodies, but still only 13% of that population is Muslim. That means that 87% of the population is Hindi. So, 8/10 Dunkin Donutes owned by Indians is likely to be owned by a Hindi Indian vs. a Muslim one. Density being the normalization factor.
