I think it's STUPID on the part of LE, for the simple fact that so many people drive distracted. No job is worth your life. What makes me chuckle, there's hardly any traffic enforcement in East Cobb "proper". Johnson Ferry and Sandy Plains are both roads that are highly sped upon...I think that too many lawyers, judges and their families live there for it to be worth the effort.

OH! One other note about the E/W Connector. They clock on the bends in the road, hiding in the trees off to the should (which is expected)...BUT, because they can get you so far back because of the cover, they WALK into the middle of the road to pull you. Just be aware that the cops will walk out in front of you, so radar'd or not, I slow to about 5 miles an hour passing these fools.

Thursday's fashion thread

the second one I'm going to wear with a black cashmere cardigan and these majorican pearls. Funny story. I was in majorica in April and got the necklace that the first lady is wearing in the pic above. You may remember the stink about her going to Majorica for that funeral in AUGUST. She came back with these pearls! Sigh. -

can you also edit my subject to read: Thursday's! -
JCPenney!!! Yep, this has become a bit of a go-to store for dresses. They make dresses for women...not your typical magazine layout, and they're really affordable! I thought I'd share some of the nuggets I picked up yesterday, $59 and $39 respectively. If I had more time, I would have definitely bought more.

The solicitor will let you come down to no points. They'll give you an opportunity to not speak to the judge, but the solicitor instead. As for Barrett Pkwy/ E-W Connector...NEVER speed on any piece of it. I live off the E/W and it's lined with cops from Atlanta Road to Dallas Hwy. Everyday. I've noticed the most active times are the typical, commute, lunch time and Sunday mornings before and after church. Interestingly, there are NEVER any cops on there during prime DUI times and I've been behind drunks on this stretch more time then I can count. I think that a lot of folks go to Baileys

I'm sorry to hear this. Certainly let us know if we can help. I hope that God wraps His arms around her, and your family during this homecoming.

So the Faviana dresses are available at CC's of Rome in Kennesaw. What are you doing RIGHT NOW?
-
So the Faviana is inspired by the dress that Angelina wore to the 2009 Oscars.

That red one has potential. I've never worn red.

You always come to my rescue

Tried that site too. They all look like prom dresses or mother of the bride dresses. Still looking (oh, and I love that you're helping me!)
-
GirlMeetsDress I found one dress on there, but heir selection isn't great. A lot more short then long.
-
Believe it or not, strapless dresses look best on me! You can give me all the feedback (and it better be honest) next week!

I didn't watch the wedding - it's been in all the tabloids, and honestly, I didn't want to see her in a thousand dollar dress. What are these women thinking??? She got married in a venue that's a step up from the local VFW, with the groomsmen in cammo, mac and cheese as the menu but she had her mom (very hesitantly) spend a $1200 on her dress?
-
Same here. I would be much more comfortable in a floor length gown, especially given that I've always found the brits to be stodgy. I'm also going to be on the heels of the royal wedding. But, packing for a month is already daunting - the idea of having to deal with a gown - or another article of clothing at all - doesn't thrill me. This is a great idea and will certainly add some sparkle. Are you thinking on the hip area?

I need a dress that will work for 2 separate occasions. The first is an awards dinner which I think it's fine for...however, the second is a black tie ball. In London. Do you think I can pull this off for the latter event?

Naa, we could have liquidated, but we would have taken a huge loss and it would have displaced my son. I wanted to keep it. Of course, it's been 5 years now and I'm not sure I made the best decision as nothing has improved. We'll see what happens in the next couple years! Isn't $400K a jumbo loan now?
-
We qualified for way more than we bought for, however, we spend $7K more than intended. Not terribly sorry about the decision, as it meant the difference between hardwoods and carpet. What did hurt is the divorce that subsequently followed and the the fact that the mortgage is now paid from a single income. But it still gets paid!
