Celebrating the small victories in life:

No, there's a little bit of carbs in just about everything, with the exception of maybe straight meat. Like my cabbage and sausage, there's 1.5 carbs in that. There's about 3 carbs in my salads. I'm doing a kind of "bore myself diet", because I don't have the time to really cook much. Like I mentioned, I've gotten to the point where I'm so restricted in what I can eat without cooking that I've come to see food as something I need to do when my stomach is growling. I don't suggest it necessarily, but as with any restrictive diets (like the Atkins induction), it's not sustainable for the long te -
First, if you're a Mac user and your target audience is NOT, then do yourself a favor and find an email system that is compatible with MS Outlook. BUT, most importantly, when I tell you that your invite didn't work with my Outlook, do not tell me "it's a mac thing - I'll call you at XX".

Thanks Blondie! Maybe I'll get to the point where I can do some of this, for now, chicken ceaser salads or a hamburger - day after day after day. -
Here's where it came from: http://abcnews.go.com/US/long-island-serial-killer-profile-developed/story?id=13337371 "[The killer] could be law enforcement, could be a civil servant, could be a code enforcement person, could be a building inspector, could be a postman ... or it could be anyone who knows the area quite well," former New York Police Department detective Wally Zeins told ABC News. My guess is that they have other reasons to believe that it's law enforcement/former law enforcement and that leaked to the media so they issued the statement above. I mean, profilers

Thanks for the site! I like this one. One word of caution is to beware of sauces (no katchup, the hotter the sauce = more carbs). It also sucks to not be able to have any fruit!! I miss my friggin' fruit!!! AND MY CEREAL! I'll be transitioning to a more low calorie/lower carb meal plan once I've lost the 30lbs that I'd like to lose. I'll be happy to be able to enjoy food again, but it's just not an option until I can master a good work out routine and moderation. Quite honestly - I've gotten so flipping bored with what I'm able to eat, that's I've stopping wanting to eat. Food used to -
Yes, this is actually "What the Bleep Do We Know?!" - which is also a series of DVDs and workbooks. http://www.whatthebleep.com/index2.shtml It's about quantum physics and natural physics, not self help, IMO. Though, I will say that it has a bit of "The Secret" flavor, if you can get your mind to go way out there. I mean, the basic law of quantum physics says that the computer I'm typing on is not really there, but only there because my mind allows it to be material. That atoms actually exist on 2 opposite plains, at the same time. In reality, it says the same about what you allow

Congrats Blondie!!! It's a great feeling! Jenilyn, I'm doing great on Adkins (down 15) since March 1. I'm eating breakfast right now which consists of sausage and cabbage! If you don't mind salads, this is a good diet for you. I keep my carb consumption between 10 and 20 carbs a day. Lots of eggs. -
4 more bodies were found...coincidentally (and maybe a blessing in disguise) police also happened on the remains of an infant or child. http://www.nypost.com/p/news/local/child_slay_shock_F6ppvCWkouPkcrlTS608JL They've also know linked these women to Craigslist ads - all "escorts". They've also linked him to 4 more in Atlantic City in 2006!!! This is totally a "Criminal Minds" episode!

I don't know of anything in Paulding, but there's a bunch of great places on the square. There's also a great shop next to Williamson's near the big chicken. If you're looking for the unusual and want to venture in town, Paris on Ponce is always a delightful experience.

This is the first time I'm watching this show and I have a bit of mixed feelings. I wonder if some of these folks are doing this to make themselves feel better?? Or further their careers? For instance, this girl was sent 2 miles from her home and she's like, "I had no idea this existed" - really?

Get better soon JJ!

Everyone loves a good deal - but the people on this show need a flipping job. Some of these people must do this pretty close to full time; If I had that kind of spare time, I'd be at a food bank, my child's school or screwing my husband, not scouring the internet and newspapers and grocery shopping. To each their own, of course.

I'm watching the "KCAs" with my son and he's ALL into it - but I really gotta give it to these A-listers. Will Smith sitting in the front row with his son (granted, Willow was also performing), Snoop Dog and JOhnny Depp getting slimmed, the Black Eyed Peas doing several performances. I mean, that's pretty cool. These people (especially the ones without kids) probably have things that they would much rather be doing...

Yeah, I'm interested to see them in 6 months. He didn't do any back combing? Rock em chick (though you may want to stay out of Dville after dark) -
Who's the author? Are you sure it's not a "helpful" book about quantum physics?

You pics are too small for me to see, did you get the dreads? -
You are an adult. My son is 8 and while there are sometimes that he will get his own food, he ALWAYS has to ask me if it's not a fruit or vegetable (of which there is much)...he can't just go get a bag of chips, he has to ask. We had Italian ice (chocolate) or those freeze pops - one of the upsides to poverty (back then) was that we couldn't afford the good deserts!

Ladies - how many pairs of shoes do you own?
dumbestgirlintheworld replied to dumbestgirlintheworld's topic in RECENT TOPICS
Same here! I'm a tranny 10! I have purchased 5 new pairs of shoes this week. I have a couple pairs of REALLY expensive shoes, but they're the classics. I mostly buy Jessica Simpson, Steve Madden, Chinese Laundry, Nine West, etc. If it's $40 or less and I like it, it's coming home. $40-$100, I have to really like it. $100 or more it has to be designer or boots. -

They're a brand. You see them at places like Belk. -
"The fattest kid in school" is still a pretty far cry from 700lbs! I was really sad because on of the boys, I believe he was 15, died because they couldn't properly treat him in the hospital and he wasn't able to be transported. When should parents step in? When should doctor's be required to report it to authorities? It's one thing if a child gains excessive weight and a parent is working diligently with medical professionals to determine a cause - it's another if the child has gained excessive weight in between annual check ups and the parents did nothing to explore the potentia
